So it seems like they have been using the new FMDUO cameras for sometime. I'm guessing that is how they released the "first" 12k scene that nobody could watch.
Overall, for those of you who are subscribed to them, what is your overall take on that camera looking back at all of their recent 8k scenes?
You can tell which are FMDUO by the black lens mask and the colors, they seem a little oversaturated but they are sharp as hell. I dont know how I feel about their color treatment but the image quality looks pretty good.
I still think those cameras are way overpriced but for a pro studio it makes sense. Anyone know of any other studio possibly using an FMDUO camera with better colors than VRBangers
Not trying to kiss any ass here, but I am frankly quite impressed by the image quality SLR still gets out of the K2 Pro.
I hope that once they move away to a new system they releases a masterclass on how they achieved such good image quality out of that camera. I owned one for a couple of years and I could never get such a sharp image out of it, so I would be very interested in watching them do a workflow video or blog.
