Haptics - fixing Bluetooth issue for Haptics Connect. The app will check BT status right on the start. Should fix 85% of all issues.

I just watched a few scenes from VRBangers. While their shooting style is not as good as SLR, the quality difference of their 8k scenes on my Pico 4 is insane. It really is a noticeable step-down to follow a well-shot 8K scene up with a 6k scenes from SLR.

doublevr Thanks for the update. I have to admit that I was a bit surprised about the part outlining the upcoming developments in the sector of flat videos. Reading the forum for quite a while now, I somehow can't imagine that the existing clientele with VR headsets will be particularly interested in watching flattened VR videos on their phones. I don't know, maybe this step is supposed to attract a non-VR audience to SLR which is probably larger in numbers. The question that now arises for me: Will VR content remain first priority? Or is the plan to shift the meaning of 'Sex like real' to watching flat videos with haptics?

doublevr I've seen what he said in the other thread. If he's right about anything, it's important to be clear about your intentions from the beginning. That being said, there's a clear lack of transparency on this site and it is particularly visible in the fact that you don't dare to allow dislikes or downvotes on your content.

If there's one thing I've learned in life, it's that humility is a great virtue. You should try it sometime and not expect better treatment from people just for having the power, or being a director or an admin.

I value transparency and open discussion. If those are not prioritized here and if negative opinions or disagreements are consistently silenced, I will find a different community. There's no need for a ban.

There continues to be a disconnect with SLR between what I see people ask for and what the company focuses on.

It feels like there's this laser-focus on tech advancement and building a VR empire. Maybe you have data that says a vast majority of your users only care about haptics and not at all about stories but I'm someone that's the opposite. The tech isn't there for me yet. I don't want to fuck something that sounds like a fax machine.

Users were asked to submit scenarios months ago and meanwhile every new Original still feels unchanged in focus or content. Looking at the forum now, the ONLY idea that's been approved has been someone saying "do the harem thing you've already done a bunch but with black girls this time". Are directors THAT opposed to doing something out of their formula? Is it a budget/time thing? I'm genuinely curious because this isn't just an SLR problem.

Pitches with considerably more thought and detail put into them are just sitting there. Every time someone says the stories and setups need to be better, there's a bunch of people agreeing and then we just find ourselves repeating it again the next time users are asked what they want. It's frustrating to see.

Production quality has to be #1 always, and to be fair I think it is a priority, it's just understandably hard to maintain quality the more teams you hire and the bigger you get - then just as you're on a roll, people leave or switch departments or we get a pandemic which causes havoc. You can't blame users for continuing to emphasise this one area, it is after all the fundamental part of the experience. I look forward to improvements in quality and tech, and brighter days ahead.

I also wonder if any of these 100 porn star suggestions are contacted at all. I have now seen lots of girls that I have never seen before in VR. People say they are big in 2d or they have only shot 5 times, ect. Does SLR connect these people? It's just the same 30 porn stars over and over. What's the point of all these suggestion? Unfortunately i am not interested in Flat videos anymore and I don‘t care about Multiuserstuff.
All I want is that you keep up with top VR scenes and my priority would be that all scenes have scripts. But thats just my opinion 🙂

right now SLR is the biggest producer and supplier of VR porn and all the tech I'm talking about will bring us even more production. otherwise doing production and doing it cool is really hard. there has to be a strong economy behind.

SchnuppiLilac it's the other way around. we want to get flat users to use haptics because it works so good with SLR integration, then convert them into VR.

VR is our absolutely first priority. It's VR+Haptics now.
