Unless it’s been fixed overnight. The CzechVR api scenes are all messed up and distorted.

Sandi_SLR It is no longer possible to name playlists with forbidden words (you'll get 'invalid title' alert)

Is there a list of forbidden words somewhere?

      petermc

There is but due to to censorship if they share the list it will look like this.

      M%#@^
      PΒ£%%$
      N♀♑◇♧
      D€$Β₯
      F‒●░€¿

Sandi_SLR if you go into DeoVR, go into the CzechVR api (rather than the desktop site) and click play on any of the videos the picture is all discoloured and distorted. At least it was when I was watching yesterday.

petermc Hm I just checked it, plays OK here :/
Can you record it if possible?

          Sandi_SLR

It worked good not taking out her hair out or no see through on her eyes, her shorts get see through tho

          I used pt
          50
          100
          100
          559
          1000

Or I put the pt at
          0
          0
          0
          0
          871

But then her black shirt got see through

What we trying to do here?
Just use a different color besides green?

Id Try a light Grey bg.
          Like this color

But either way once she naked I can get jiggy with both my pt options i used. 😏 πŸ˜πŸ‘

petermc Thanks for the recording, can you check the settings in player settings panel under Image tab? Are they zeroed?

              Sandi_SLR

I just tried the 2-minute sample of Xxlayna with the new alpha channel the result is sooo much better than before! No more green light bleeding through, very sharp edges. Well done!

How long until you re-release the passthrough videos with their alpha-channels?

Sandi_SLR That was the problem, all the videos for CzechVR have brightness at -10 and saturation at +20 so you have to reset them to default and picture now looks ok. Never thought to check as I don’t ever mess with that stuff. Thanks for the help.

                Hi @Sandi_SLR

I noticed that on the latest Beta firmware v53 for the Meta Desktop app they’ve enabled local dimming by default on all apps when using the Quest Pro via Oculus Link. I believe it has been on a per app basis up until this point. With the responsibility falling on the devs for each app to enable it or not.

I assume they will eventually make the same change when you use the headset as a standalone headset. But until then, I was wondering if there’s anything you guys can do on your end to enable local dimming in DeoVR when using the Pro as a standalone headset?

Local dimming really does make for nicer image quality by increasing contrast.

                Just curious.

Sandi_SLR there was no preset when i turned it on, I had to mess with the pt settings.
The 1st sample as well has no preset

                  Sandi_SLR OK, my bad, oppsie

I updated my deo on quest 2 but not my pico

I updated deo on the pico 4 and NOW I see it!
And yes looks way better then the original with the green bg, also the video looks more clearer!
                  πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ₯‚, AWESOME WORK!

But it looks really good πŸ‘

but now we gotta a problem 😬

Yeah, since I had the pico 4 never has it froze up on me using deo, after this update it froze a few times already. Noticeably during watching pass through on.

Also the videos dont start with my -0.80 zoom set as default, it starts at 1.0 then I have to push the Lil arrow circle to restore to my costume default -0.80

It does this on quest 2 as well.
I seen few other users having this issue too.

Vrsumo2017 Hey, settings defaut are getting a fix soon.
But freezing is new to us, could you help us explain the steps so we can recreate? Thanks
