I just don't understand. Are you saying having a 10 minute buildup with teasing with a dress on and a simple story to what the hell is going on in the scene is now a "niche story"?

How is an amateur studio going to make beautiful looking story driven scenes. You already have a bunch of amateur studios on here. Let's be honest, they are not great quality. They are also in Europe so they don't even speak in the scenes.
The bigger studios all have a story going on. VRHush have good stories (their camera sucking is the problem) Realjam have stories. Fuckpass have stories (its kind of the same story everytime) but it's a story. They can afford to make a story but you can't?

I mean all of @AlexMack scenes would be a lot better if there was some thought put into it how this is happening to ME. A buildup with teasing. Not porn setup stories, that is what I hated about 2d. VR is different at least to me.

        doublevr Otherwise featured movies are hit or miss. It comes at a cost and barely 50% of them make returns.

        Did the scenes that @alexnash shot 2 and a half years ago that you said you were going back to lose money? You wrote a whole thing about about making masterpieces. That was going to be the focus going forward. Do you remember writing that? About having BGG scenes that are story driven. Do you want me to find it on here and repost it cause I thought that was a very smart thing to do if you really want to be known as making the best VR scenes.

        BTW you don't have to rent an Airplane to make a story. You can stand in the kitchen making toast.

They complain about ROI, but waste money on over-the-top gimmicky BS, developing AI to put scripters out of a job and ruin that market, and shove passthrough and JAV down our throats when no one signed up for it. Just stick to good quality, top-model, story driven BG/GFE VR porn and you'll do fine - and make money. Quantity is not better than quality. Are you losing out to POVR? Maybe it's because they have professional, top-notch productions and include top-tier reputable sites in their aggregation, while you keep trying to do things cheaper and include mostly low-quality amateurs.

              Alex Mack's scenes look more and more like cheesy 3D porn, Naughty America style. FYI - that style is why I don't subscibe there. People chose SLR because they were different from the competition, but you seem to want to immitate them. Innovation is not constant novelty. It's finding a niche that no one else is doing, and then continuing to improve on it, not dumbing it down or adding gimmicks.

                      You know why he likes PT so much. They are exactly what he is taking about. Cheap and fast to make. They are a dream come true for him. No need for a story of any kind.                       SLR could fix a lot of this if they had Alex Mack shoot the PT scenes and the other guy shoot the story scenes.

                      SLR tricked me into buying a lifetime subscription by making good scenes 2 years ago and then acting like they were trying to go back to that after the 8k shitty camera. Then to seal the deal said we are turning over a new leaf and focusing on making great stories again.

                        Will65 What I don't understand at all is why Alex Mack waste the time to shoot the being parts that are 2 minutes long. He sets the camera up in the kitchen in the latest scene the 'Anniversary' says a couple of things (I don't know what is said because I stopped trying to watch them) then moves to you getting your dick sucked in the bedroom. They say it takes all this time to move the camera and lights and everything. Then why only shoot for 2 minutes? WHY? Set the scene up in the kitchen for 10 minutes or even at least 5 minutes. Do you know how much longer that takes to do? 3 MINUTES more of filming. That is it, 3 to 7 more minutes. They are usually one single uncut scene.

                        'Maid Suprise' starts in the kitchen again. It last 2 minutes and 42 secs before moving everything to the living room.

                        'Kendra Sunderland' starts with a hot dress half off. It is on the floor in 4 SECS. Why make her even put the dress on in the first place. She must be thinking 'why am I taking it right off if I just put it on'.

                        'Date night with Victoria Jane' starts with you standing up. the first 40 secs are the credits then at 2 minutes and 5 sec it moves to you sitting in a chair. 1 minute and 25 secs to tell her to go outside or something then you have to move the camera.

                        'Exchange Student' At least he didn't waste in time on setting the camera to then move it. It just starts with 30 secs credits, dick out by 2 minutes and 49 secs. It took 2 minutes 19secs.

                        I could go on but I think everybody gets the point. Again I not asking for a lot here. Just 5 to 10 minutes of a story of what is about to happen with teasing. SLR has already spent all the money for everything. Already set the camera and lights up. If my dick is out in 2 minutes then what is the difference between SLR and any other company because the other companies try to make a story. So the difference is no story just porn nothing else.

                          NGL, story-based scenes aren't really my thing. I mean, I mostly skip them intros when they start taking too long. But, yeah, a decent 5-min intro wouldn't hurt. What I really care about? Making sure all the positions are spot-on, shot perfectly, with zero errors. And that closeup missionary? Needs to be in every single scene, it's the only thing that differs SLR from other studios. If that happens, you can bet I'll stick around for a good long while.
