Maybe not in this case, but a lot of the time, men think a model is wearing no makeup when she's actually wearing light, naturalistic makeup - a look sometimes referred to as "no-makeup makeup." Blemishes are smoothed out with concealer, eyes and lips subtly accentuated, but nothing super-obvious is used.
I'd love to see a LOT more porn featuring either the no-makeup makeup look, or just no makeup if the model is comfortable doing that. The inch-long fake eyelashes are (I assume) loved by many guys, but it's a detriment for me.
