Evan_Redstar maybe it's because mastering was done by different people. Most likely I did it for Sexual Alchemy. Spanish Lullaby and The Angel Trials was done by our guru who did stiching for most of the scenes. My preset was a bit different from scale part, so maybe here is a reason why it's getting distorted a bit.

It’s interesting that different editors used different presets. I would have thought once you guys found settings that worked the best. You would share that preset across the editing team. So you would get the most consistent product scene to scene. Regardless of who worked on it.

As far as the barrel distortion goes, it seems only crazy people like myself think it’s an issue. I get a little OCD sometimes. So forgive me harping on about it.

You guys do good work. And the scenes are excellent.

      Evan_Redstar There is no time codes. It's the whole scene. And it's not just this scene. It's most of the new ones.
      If I move my head around from left to right. The images in the left and right lens seem to be a little off. You can see the image roll like it's warped. I don't know how to describe it. The old 6k videos from 2 years ago were perfect. If you moved your head around the image was clear and looked static. It looked like a solid picture like it should look. Now the image looks like it is aways correcting itself. It like the edges are warped but the middle is not, so when you move your head you can see the image going from warped to not warped. I hope this all makes since.
      I know nothing about editing but IMO you should use the presets from 2 years ago

        vrpicasso Great post! If directors consistently featured all three of the "good" positions on your screenshots, there'd be something for everyone. Intimate shots with a good view of the face, a fuller body view that lets us simultaneously see the face, the body and penetration and finally, a position that emphasised the legs for those who appreciate legs.

          Will65 lean-back cowgirl gives us the best view without moving the headset, so I'm a fan, although I do like a mixture of CG positions so long as they're all shot well.

              vrpicasso I can appreciate that some people may like the view, but it is an immersion breaker to lean back and get penetrated like some weird exorcist crab creature. Every time I post against that position in comments it is the most liked comment in the thread. I wouldn't mind a bit of it, but when it is the only cowgirl (e.g. LethalHardcoreVR), it sucks.                               I checked out the latest Riley Starr scene last night. It’s great to see a new Riley scene!

                              Unfortunately, image quality wasn’t the best. Not sure who edited the scene, but the image quality is a little over done IMO.

                              Color is a little over saturated. A little too much contrast. Looks like sharpening was applied in post. Skin textures look waxy and unnatural.

                              I don’t know if these characteristics were baked in during capture, or a product of an overly enthusiastic color grade. But the resulting image doesn’t look very natural.

                              If I had to take a guess, this editor might be the same person that edited Nash Magazine: Blake Angel. As they share many of the same characteristics. That’s just a guess though.

                              As far as the scene itself. Riley is great! Bring her back early and often!

                                bacula8630 In the Riley Star video, my impression was that the image got quite blurry already at a distance that is usually not a problem. If you look at the T-Shirt of the male performer in laying position, the texture of the fabric looks only detailed in the area between neck and chest and thus farther away skin texture will look blurry/waxy.

                                And I thought it was even worse in the Breaking the 4th wall video in which there was no realistic skin texture at all at any distance, not even in the highest quality version of the video.

                                At around the same time, I happened to watch two videos from the VRHush/FuckpassVR/VRAllure group and was just blown away by the clarity of the skin texture at close range in both of them. Almost better than reality! I don't think they manage to reach this level of quality all the time, but these two were absolutely amazing.

                                So my conclusion would be that SLR should definitely look into the image quality issues of some recent videos, I think this is rather a step back and there is definitely a lot of room for improvement.

                                  Hey @alexnash and @Evan_Redstar I’ve been loving the the limo/airplane scene so much it has taken me this long to get to the spot I’m mentioning, but at 40m49s there is a bad black frame / overlay issue on the right lens, and thereafter for the next 4 minutes until 44m when the plane is landed and Tru Kait comes in, the left and right lens are out of sync. Just hoped you could make an otherwise perfect experience all the more perfect. Thank you so much for this amazing scene!!

                                    So I just checked out The Euro Trip SLRO Starring Agatha Vega.

                                    First, the positives. Agatha looked great. Love the dirty talking in Spanish. Speaking of Spanish, is that true about the straw? I found that amusing. 😀

                                    But there seems to be some weird technical issues.

                                    Firstly, Any time Agatha came close to the camera during the first shot, she was out of focus. Background was sharp. But her face was not. Especially in the upper half of your FOV.

                                    Then, when on the bed. The right eye was not sharp on Agatha. She appeared in focus on the left eye. But the right eye was noticeably softer. And when you look to the far left with your right eye, there appears to be part of the image the isn’t lined up properly.

                                    You can see around the 34:00 mark. When Agatha is licking your nipple and stroking your cock. If you look with only your right eye at her face all the way to the left. Her face is messed up. The image doesn’t line up properly.

                                    While I wouldn’t call the scene unwatchable. There are noticeable issues.

                                      I noticed this too. If you look on the downloaded version the mask on the right eye is very large on the left side. Takes up nearly 1/3rd of the frame (you can see John’s left nipple/arm/shoulder are translucent). I think it just needs to be remasked to fix this.

                                      (Regarding the focus, yes agreed, this scene has some issues with focus, more notably during the seated section.)
