  • Subtitles are coming to SLR app. Any thoughts on it?

Please make it something can opt in or out of. I understand those that want it, but personally I don’t want words floating in my VR. Total immersion killer. I can imagine what girls are saying if I can’t understand it outright. Doesn’t bother me.

          Good to hear. It does bring up some interesting questions though.

          Will the text just be floating in space? Or will it be in a black rectangle? I prefer the former, as it would be less intrusive. But might be harder to implement? IDK. I’m not a programmer.

          Also, will you be able to drag the subtitles anywhere on the screen? Say, for instance, the girl is on her knees about to give you a BJ. With most of the action on the lower half of the screen. It would be great to be able to drag the subtitles to the top. Where it’s out of the way.

          Anyways, the idea is interesting. Maybe not on my “must have” feature list. As I don’t watch too much JAV. But it’s definitely a “nice to have feature when I need it” type of thing.

          Looking forward to what you guys come up with.

              doublevr ive seen something similar with wording put into a scene in the form of dialog boxes , but man this is going to be amazing, i live for the JAV scenes , my 2nd year japanese is not enough to comprehend everything 😭 they say except for a few words like Sugoi 🥹

                  Ditto. With JAV, I like to make up my own dialog.

                  Nice, i would definitely use it for JAV, since there is often a lot of dialogue in the beginning.

                  Bucket619 nearly ten years of JAV and I think the only words I’ve worked out is Sensei, and Oppai !! 😆 It’s fine, I can figure out plenty just looking at a girls face and hearing her general tones.

                      doublevr in 2d porn, I’m not averse to subtitles. I am a big fan of dirty talk in porn so seeing what’s being said when it might not be 100% clear in the audio is great. Not sure it would work in VR though, I suppose you never know until you try it.

                        Would be great for some one with hearing disabilities. Options to turn it off and on is a must. 👍

                        Totally for trying it out! I guess I'll need to get a bigger GPU to do ML stuff for subtitles (so much for having kidneys) 😅

                        We already have subtitles for local files and you are free to test it, what this thread was meant to say was, we are getting subtitles for streaming videos.
