Any thoughts why these scenes didn't go well?
filis I wish the scenes were more provocative, the actual scenes are very straightforward. The woman appears, says two words, takes off her clothes and fucks.
Fully agree with this. And it makes for videos that are all kinda samey.
Probably also why I like to start off with scenes from StasyQVR or StripzVR, they show angles of the models we just don't get in most regular scenes at all and weirdly enough there's nothing in between that type of solo showing-off the curves and regular b/g fucking scenes.
Same goes for lingerie, sexy boots, garter & thighs, etc. It all comes off quickly in the first 5-10 mins tops, it's rare to see a scene where some of it stays on throughout a scene (I can understand it might not be comfortable for shooting very long scenes though).
Aerowen would be great tk start some of the scene with a stacy q like strip tease, get us excited before the vr fucking. Builds the mood way more for me then conversation and then clothes off.
doublevr The last scenes did not look cheap at all and some of them were actually quite nice. The 35 min Freya Parker scene had an extensive introduction and they even booked another female performer as a real estate agent without involving her in the action. It should have been easy to extend the action by 15 min if they wanted to. So maybe it's an artistic decision. Or maybe they are holding some footage back for their new spin-offs. Following the success of BlowVR, get ready for CGVR, RevCGVR, MishVR, WoofWoofVR I think the current one-scene-per-week strategy might rather be a sign that going exclusive might not have fully paid out yet.
Aerowen I wish they would show the women in evening dress. Then pull the dress up and have her get on top of you. That is so hot. She could tease you beforehand but don't take it off at first.
This scene was looking so promising in the beginning with both girls in hot dresses. It lasted about 2 minutes then they moved the camera and the girls showed up in lingerie. Why make them put on the dresses if they are just going to take them back off and not even in front of the camera.

You can still do both if you really want them in lingerie. They can have it underneath and over time take the dress off to show the lingerie they have on. That would be a lot sexier.
@AlexMack
AlexMack Keeping on hot heels for the whole scene can be extremely sexy, actually I love that very much.
AlexMack I agree clothed sex is hot af. It gives sneaky vibes when there is fully clothed sex. And it doesn't need to be in whole scene models can just take it off after a while so you can satisfy both ends Here check my suggestion thread about it

The six minute rule. At least six min of grouping and foreplay before the model even touches the male talent. Just watch how your films improve, and no dialogue and scripting would even be required. That's what they do with JAV.
Why not create UNCENSORED versions of JAV-like films shot in the US?

The following opinion is mine and could be completely wrong so don't take it as the Bible: I don't think we can look at just the 'Like' counts and determine whether a scene is successful/good/popular or not. There might be many reasons why people haven't bothered to 'like' X or Y scene. The customer base has various opinions and preferences, and just because one group of customers didn't 'like' doesn't mean the other group didn't. If one chooses to follow this simple logic, it would seem unfair to see doublevr listing these scenes as bad just because they haven't received a certain, pre-determined 'Likes' from a certain customer base. What about the ones who 'Liked' ? What about the positive side of things?
There could be several factors as to why one customer group might not 'like' X or Y scene. If for example each member of a customer base has two girlfriends in real life, they might ask for more variety, enthusiasm, certain niche positions and sexual acts from a scene that feature two women. This is because each of these members is getting to have sex with two women every night, and they are bored of seeing the same thing in VR. They want something else. More variety etc.
On the other hand there is another group of customer base who don't have any girlfriend (for a myriad of reason) and for certain reason they are not able to interact with women (or women don't interact with them, for whatever reason). For this group of people, experiencing two women in VR in a single scene is a dream come true and they are very easy to please and therefore they will give the scene a 'Like', even if the two pornstars in the scene was just talking and never got nude or performed a sexual act. What about the 'Likes' given by this group of people? Why are they not being counted?
https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/wtb-goth-gf-32451 << Goth is not my cup of tea. You can't even pay me to download or watch it. Still doesn't mean the scene is bad. Those who like Gothic stuff will surely appreciate it. But perhaps you haven't advertised your business enough to Goth people? If you did, you would have certainly gotten more 'Likes' on this scene for sure.
One of the greatest VR scenes in my opinion is one produced by NA starring Karla Kush and Harley. Was released back in 2017 and to me (and not to others and that's okay) it's a masterpiece. Guess how many 'Likes' it got? Zero, mainly because NA doesn't allow you to 'like/dislike' on their site. They allow you to leave a feedback comment but the video earned only two comments if you wanna head over to their site to take a look. One comment is from me, and the other one from some rando.
The point of my useless post is that just because X scene hasn't received Y number of likes from a specific Z customer base doesn't mean it's a bad scene like doublevr stated. It just didn't meet the requirements of a particular group of his customer base. That's all.
If the pornstars starring in these scenes are reading this: don't be discouraged. You have done and will do well.

bigloverofcoffee69 I agree that niches should definitely be catered for as well. While most videos should cater towards mainstream tastes as this will make the most customers happy, a portion of videos should also be reserved for niches. This way, people who aren't into mainstream porn will also have content they can enjoy.
That being said, it is still vital to make data-driven decisions, even when dealing with niches. I'll use your example to illustrate my point. Personally, I am into goths. But I did not enjoy this video because of the casting. Just because goths are my type doesn't mean that I find every single goth attractive. Just because some other users might prefer milfs, it doesn't mean that they find every single mature woman attractive. Data such as likes, or minutes watched per video, allow us to make objective comparisons. Among goths and milfs, which ones are the most popular?
To ensure inclusivity, one very useful metric is a users' like to hide ratio. How many videos does a user like per video they choose to hide? If they hide a lot more than they like, we can have a look at the types of video they like to deduce their tastes. Do most other SLR members with the same tastes have similar like to hide ratios? If so, we may need to cater more to their niche or risk losing their business. Of course, this would be a far more useful metric once the hide feature is finally implemented on the app. If we can only hide content on desktop, I imagine it'd be too cumbersome for most people to do it regularly.
AlexMack Nice
AlexMack can you not use kyle mason
spacepirate Hi, what’s the concern with Kyle Mason? I only used him once, and the scene isn’t even out yet.
