Sandi_SLR No, the script is already loaded.
When pausing the video, and then continue playing, there's a delay before the Handy starts moving again.

But I will test further, it could have been my internet or network that day goofing around.

@Sandi_SLR thanks for the update but I really dont understand why the B button functionality has changed.
I used it all the time for hiding the on screen UI (and on 2nd press going to Home) - but now many times intuitively pressing it, got starting unintentionally another video, quite frustrating. Despite the fact there is already another way to go to the previous video, I cannot understand why this hotkey is not configurable. I don't want to press the trigger to hide the UI - because already sometimes pointed unintentionally the Quit button while doing it (which incomprehensibly has no confirm dialog). Hope this getting changed back or is configurable.
Thanks for reading, Yannis

Aerowen Hey we didn't change the behavior in file manager, just checked how it worked in previous version and it is same, it will go back to the folder it was opened initially, then hub.

Sandi_SLR it is about when being inside film playing, so from release notes:
      Improvements:
B button will now traverse through video history instead of going back to hub

Yannis72 Hey we will add an option to bring this specific behavior back.

Generally we are going in direction of using Back button as browser like navigation, so it focuses on states/pages of the app, not UI.

Sandi_SLR Well maybe I remember it wrong or just never noticed before. But regardless what the functions do, from a UX pov any mixed behavior for a button is simply bad in any case.

I understand when in browser mode it makes sense to have 'back' button go back in video history but that has nothing to do with the functionality in the local files viewing.
None of the buttons should switch the app between 'browser mode' and 'local files viewing mode' and in general the back button in most file browsers always means going up one folder aka '\..' to the parent folder.

Hey, there was a small update - 13.7.1

            Bug fixes:

            • No more slider glitches in Haptics panel

Autofocus is staying turned off for now, we are still working on a fix, looks like it will take longer then anticipated.

Aerowen Hey, we are trying to mimic browser Back behavior, don't know which file browser you use but I see option for Up and Back. Switching the behavior only for file manager would be mixing it for me.
I am not against adding Up button to controller mappings, also as separate tab, so it would be unique to File manager, like assigning Up and Back to thumbstick directions or something...

              Sandi_SLR changed the title to App 13.7 released (Haptics - T-Code/OSR & Handy) .

Sandi_SLR I am not against adding Up button to controller mappings

Yeah I think a keybind option for going to parent folder might work if I can assign that to the button that's now used for 'back'.

              @raser1 @Sandi_SLR

One more nice to have would be to have the video speed playback control slider inside the haptics menu since that is the only place I can imagine anyone wanting to slow down/speed up a video.

Any tips or a link on how to assign switching edging mode off/on to a controller button?

It would be nice if deovr remembered settings (heresphere is pretty good at that). Deovr can remember where I played each video to, and AB settings, so it should be able to remember that I use a handy and its settings.

I don’t know if you guys are aware, but when using DeoVR on the Quest Pro with Oculus Link cable/PC, the Quest Pro controllers don’t function properly. The left and right thumbsticks don’t do anything. Which I usually program to tilt during playback. And use to scroll up and down when navigating menus.

I ended up using an Xbox controller. Which works fine.
