So I stumbled upon a subreddit that had pics of pornstars with no makeup and it was really interesting to see I feel like it would be awesome to see your favorite pornstars in closeup mish without any makeup, so you can see their bare face up close. There's two obvious problems if you shoot a scene like that though: Fans of the girl will be upset that she wasn't dolled up Fans of other girls will be sad that they didn't get to see their fav girl without makeup A proposed solution: Shoot 5-10 minutes of no makeup closeup mish with stars when they're on set for another film and then release it as shorts or as a compilation film. I've seen JAV use this "original compilation" concept in vr for stuff and it seemed like it worked pretty well That being said, I have no idea how much time that takes and it may well be too impractical to pull off. I wish all the girls looked more natural. With closeup 8K you can really see how much makeup they have on. I also don't like the super long eyelashes.

Great idea. I agree 100%. This should be a part of every SLR video. The cosmetics look terrible in most VR films. It makes the sex look unreal, unnatural.

Too many women try to hide bad skin with too much makeup...too much concealer, huge fake lashes and gobs of eye makeup. Closeups like missionary shots sometimes even show it melting under the lights and sweat from the action. Gross. Add the fake nails, puffy botox lips, painted on eyebrows, implants and they become more fake than real. Clearly some like the look, as it wouldn't be all over porn. Give me all natural anyday.

I must admit I love the makeup- I love watching a "polished" makeup look become messy during a hot scene -
But SLR is big enough for everyone and every preference so why not?

catflap I love that too! I think it's hard to justify shooting a whole scene without makeup, but maybe a sort of a bonus — akin to Vixen's intimates series or the shower scenes some studios do after the cumshot. But again, if time is already short on set that might not be an option
