We are looking to have 5 US production teams shooting around 4-5 videos starting from March. All I tell producers - do you best to come up with new cool stuff. You can count on us in everything tech, post production and feedback, the rest is up for you. We are always happy to explore new ideas and concepts 🔥 Quick overview: one team will be mostly shooting passthroughs. These will be greatly improved with March update completely removing green background and artifacts. Making it like a regular black box scene. Totally next gen passthorough like Quest 2 v Quest Pro. @Mutiny will be looking into production figuring out new logic for castings.

Three words is what I would bring and that is variety, variety and variety! More variety of storylines. More variety of female performers (not all slender teen looking models, not all lesser known newbies, let’s have some more established stars too). More varied levels of hardcore scenes (some vanilla and intimate. some rougher, some anal etc.) More variety of male performers (John Strong, for example, seems to be in a lot of scenes unless I am mistaken and, based on what I’ve seen of him, he appears to be very short which doesn’t work great for some positions, especially with taller girls). Focus on the art of making the scenes look great, getting girls into great positions, good lighting and clear views of penetration instead of efficiency (i.e. let’s see how many positions we can tick off without moving the camera around). Just a few thoughts.

Don't use a warehouse. Get beautiful houses, places, make it look like a real place. Most important to me is make a story that is a scenario that I could happen to find myself in. I don't have a stepmom or stepdaughter but you can make it believable that it could happen to someone somewhere (since everybody seems to want to bang their step family for some reason). You wouldn't end up banging your stepdaughter because she doesn't want you to tell her mom something.

If you've got 5 teams producing videos full time that's a ton of great content. Have one of them focus on the niche genres that don't get many high quality releases but people are always asking for. Stories and characters, _please_. Solicit ideas/scripts from users if you don't have any ideas. I have a ton and I'm sure plenty of others here do as well. I can see any number of body parts go into any orifice for free with one Google search. I get my money's worth with context, immersion, etc. Wankz used to be the kings of stuff like this but they've gotten a lot more generic in recent times. Look back at their Zombie Slayers series, or the multi-part saga with Casey Calvert. They did two Elena Koshka scenes that were vastly different but scratched that same itch, one where you are on a blind date and another where she's your girlfriend. The former actually had you sit through a full 20 minutes or so of the date before any of the action and the latter was one of the only GFE scenes where I felt like there was an actual relationship. Build some tension. Make the viewer wait for it a little. Stuff like this is why cosplay scenes are so attractive. We have the familiarity with the characters built into our heads that are supposed to enhance the scene. I don't need an hour long epic but having a hot chick just walk up to me and hop on my dick is boring. I can also get that anywhere.

Agree, I just brought up the same scene 5 minutes ago on another thread about the blind date. That scene was amazing because of the story that build up. I also like multi scene story lines. That way you really get immersion with the story. Again SLR did it once then never again. Those 3 videos all are super high up on the all time list for the whole SLR site. Why don't they do it again cause they always talk about the numbers around here.

Well, I think warehouse will still be used for some Cosplay scenes and rather unusual scenes and that's imho ok. But there should be a lot fewer of them and only if there's really no better option available. And even then it should be done everything to hide the fact that it's an actual warehouse by well-done temporary settings....

For everything else I'd like to have proper sets, classrooms etc. included. In VR you do have to go the extra mile here because you can't simply ignore the ceiling etc. by clever angles etc. In VR you always have a 180° sight so no chance to hide something. A classroom with a warehouse ceiling is a guaranteed immersion breaker...

spacepirate No, just 1:1s where you can make the dude more transparent/less noticeable. It's not the same as solo, both from chemistry, seeing the girls body move in different ways, etc. Also, looking for dual purpose here where you can go non passthrough when you want and solo is usually boring for many of us.

I would like to add that most of the SLR community loved Phillip’s casting, as was evident by scene comments & our reactions on the forums.

While I do encourage the new casting team experiment with the direction they want to take it, please at least use Phillip’s casting logic as a blueprint. We were happy. Please make small tweaks instead of drastic changes.

diwanga when you say page after page, you mean 2 pages right? There’s anal scenes on pages 3 onwards. Also the vast majority of the top scenes are SLR Originals and they have hardly done any anal scenes. Even fewer anal scenes with popular stars. Let’s be honest, relatively speaking, there’s not many anal scenes in VR full stop. It’s not really that surprising then that most of the very top scenes are not anal as there’s so few of them.

If you look at the top 20 original scenes (not compilations) this month, 6 of them are anal scenes, which is impressive considering how few anal scenes were released. It has always been a big seller in porn so it’s about time VR caught up and started to feature it more. Realjam do ok on here and they release regular anal content with top porn stars. Xsinsvr do ok too with their anal content and Fuckpass/VRHush are starting to do more. They’ve just been struggling with the 8K camera issues for a few months.

petermc I agree. We need also more variety in the cast. I see so many times the same kind of girl. I mean the cast is different but they look all the same in my opinion. The balance between curvy and skinny isn't right.

Storyline: For more creative input, we have to look to asians. I'm not the biggest fan of asian movies but i like the storyline.
Mother in Law, Shoplyfting, Tutor, Darkrooms.

Sad that BGGA will become the default. Personally I prefer BG non-anal scenes, I hope you'll still make stuff for people like me as well.

I'll watch 3some scenes if there is a model I really like, but I'm usually only interested in watching her and have to skip around the scene which makes for a worse experience than if there was a BG scene with only her in it.

My wishlist is for more good cowgirl scenes, and less flat/overexposed lighting :p
