Sandi_SLR Hey, we are talking about a solution to convert videos shot on greenscreen to a more pleasant color.
The color is really not the issue at hand. It's that these scenes are basically unwatchable for quite a substantial portion of your customers. Some might not even have passthrough on their device and even those who have might not like it because it looks ridiculously bad on pretty much every available headset, especially those for the mass market and it's likely not even providing the stuff they're here for in the first place...

How about just making a separate studio/site for AR porn? I've not subscribed for this.
justsomedude101 Sorry you aren't a fan of the Passthrough, and maybe some day with a newer or future headset you'll find one you like. But just to be clear I don't think there is any plan whatsoever to stop producing this type of content. It's pushing the medium forward and the Passthrough releases thus far have been hugely popular and in large part very well-received.
First, there are a shitload of people who don't like these scenes. Even on different forums people talk about this stuff and certainly not in the best manner. I guess you gained a few new customers while making others unhappy. A trade off that is obviously working for you but obviously not for everyone else.
Second, shooting stuff in front of a green-screen doesn't push anything forward tbh. How is that supposed to pushing any innovation? You don't even produce headsets, imho you simply spare the money for decent settings. From the cheap warehouse to the even cheaper greenscreen setting, pretty clever cost-cutting plan actually...
Third, you might also offer 2D content that is popular but it's still not the point of the site. Virtual reality is about experiencing stuff in virtual reality, not in my own reality. So he actual term for this passthrough stuff isn't virtual reality (VR) but advanced reality (AR). You really shouldn't be surprised that people who subcribed for VR porn are maybe not that pleased that you use their money to shoot AR porn and offer it to them as some kind of revolution they had to like. Advanced reality isn't a somethingSLR invented, it's been there for years.
I get that you want to continue to do these things but then I guess you have to simply deal with negative feedback. It's part of that trade off I wrote about above.
That patronizing "We know it better than you, you simply have not come to terms about how amazing this is but you will some day in the future" attitude is pretty irritating though. It's like telling people who say that they like pie and subscribed for pie should also be happy with pizza and that pizza was great and that some day they would see how great pizza was while all they actually wanted and asked for in the first place was pie...
I do wonder if Alex Nash ever decided to shoot for somebody else one day all that remained for SLRO were cheap warehouse scenes and even cheaper scenes before green screens. Pretty sad version of the future imho...
