This is a pretty basic video container function with mp4, mkv, mov etc.
It's just like having multiple subtitle tracks, or spoken language audio tracks. Or a stereo track and a surround or spatial track.
Pretty much all video apps support this too.
The different angles don't really even need to have the shutters synced. (I said different angles, not the 2 shutters for the same angle)
Hell, you can even put each eye, left and right on it's own track and run 2x 4K decode streams instead of 1x 8K.
VLC supports this for example.
This explains it with 2 actual files, but you can do it with the same file that has more than one video track too.

You can 'sorta' salvage out-of-sync shutter recordings this way without blending and very high display refresh rate., it still won't be ideal, of course.
