BYOJ feature-So I created a video how do I play it?

This feature has tremendous potential it seems. I am using my smartphone to create the vid. But everytime I click on it it takes me back in edit mode. Can you only play it through the headset? If so is it playable on both DeoVR and the SLR app. What do I do within DeoVR to play it?

Mkramer1974 for a moment it's deovr/slr app only inside headset, but we are working to make it work in the web player as well

Edit: Never mind.... though my phone volume was up the player itself which normally isnt default muted was on mute!

doublevr awesome sauce bud. This has tremendous tremendous potential.

My next suggestion doublevr especially for the conossiours that watch mutliple vids would be an easier way to mark/bookmark your favorite sections (multiple times not just one singular A/B loop) in each and every video in a way that can be saved and easily retrieved for future reference .

Maybe even those segments can be titled and then instead of having to replicate the timeframe in the BYOJ interface you could simply import your custom 'bookmarked' timeframe.

Hi @doublevr, It's been 5 months since you said it was being made for the web, but either I can't find how to run it on the web or it's not there yet.

Do you know if is going to be working on web soon? or is there a way to run the app on windows without VRGlasses?

Mkramer1974 Hey, we have this exact feature in our backlog, we will call it Clips like on Youtube. No timeframe as of when it will go into development, but someday it will 🙂

I cant get on the headset just yet but when I do I will test it out and let you know how it goes! I already created a test compilation with some clips from 30+ of my favorite scenes!

I now understand the jump feature and will look to integrate that in here at some point too.

The other million dollar question for this is. ...does Handy still work with this feature? I know the handy takes a few seconds to connect with a new video or stream so it might be a tad wonky....BUT if you are running/stringing together larger cut scenes it still in theory would be connected for the majority of that clip.

Does there have to be a choice to link one vid to the next? Or can you just pick a series of clips that run in sequence and only put questions between some of them?

CapnAvatar If you ask a question and set only one answer it automatically goes to the next video.

It would also be cool to be able to select several clips to play in randomized order.

Nyrphae This is correct as I just tested it. You leave the question field blank and put one 'Jump to:' as the next episode in your order.

One more far more important question. Where do you find the video ID #s? I’m using my phone and I just don’t see those anywhere, at least not anywhere obvious.

CapnAvatar Think I found it for Web browsing anyway. On the browser (in a separate tab or window is easier) if you open up a video in SLR you can find the number following the title in web address.

presenthelot Thank you I wanted to start plying with this and wasn't sure how to find the video ID either but got it from the end video url too !

This is gonna be fun, gonna see if I can make a compilation supercut of my favorite girls within a compilation or girl specific videos for the PMV's that switch between couple. Super neat feature idea !

After some testing yesterday I love the idea of this and I think it would be absolutely amazing with 2 main improvements if possible....

Playback continuity/speed. Could be because it was the first day of release and/or bugs that need to be fixed but I found the playback of my BYOJ to be extremely slow. I tried my BYOJ, the SLR sample BYOJ, and then a really simple one episode test BYOJ and all ran quite slow with long lag times.
Resolution. I know sometimes with the additional processing res can suffer a bit but if it can be improved that would make a big difference in terms of immersion level for each of these BYOJs that we spend the time to create.
