Which studio's releases are better dowloaded than streamed? (Quest2 with Deovr)

thats interesting and unfortunate, i dont have any Jav downloads so wasnt aware. I thought i had noticed some Jav studios on scraper list after the last couple updates, they couldn be a new addition or maybe i just didnt notice them before.

Shame about R18 i was only just starting to really get into JAV when that site went down, so i never got to try it out.

And it really is much better.
It is not even close...
Is there some kind of way to stream SLR videos on Heresphere?

I found a way to stream and it is super easy. So I am changing my daily driver.

For what its worth: As I streamed that one in DeoVR on Quest 2, I realized that the resolution had defaulted to less than max. In the player options, I upped the resolution to 4000p, and then whammo, it looked way better. Not the greatest quality on the site, but still much better than the default--and way better than the tragic "ten to one" scene that's all blurry.

Also, I fiddled around with the various color sets in DeoVR and have found that "Rec2020" seems to produce the best results. For most videos, I also increase the color saturation and play with the brightness/contrast.

I've been happy enough after discovering all the video/color settings available in DeoVR that I haven't gone and downloaded to compare quality. A year ago, it seemed like downloading and playing in Pigasus produced better quality, but then I found all the settings in DeoVR. I haven't had subscriptions to other services since everyone bumped up to 8k, so I can't compare to them. But my hard drives have been happier since I stopped downloading so much.

That was my approach as well. A lot of scenes look good on deovr and some of them look good after some light tweaking in the DeoVr settings.
But Heresphere gives better results in most scenes. Some of the scenes look the same in both players and in some cases I though that a video looked similar to Deo after watching it in Here but after changing back to Deo I noticed the difference. So overall after playing with both players a little bit I prefer Heresphere even though unfortunately it is not supported by the site and because of that it's use is somewhat limited.

As to the streaming. I cannot play the videos in VR mode in the in build browser of the Heresphere but I noticed that when try to download a scene via browser it is automatically playing in the player.
SLR download limits apply to this method. But you can "download" a lot scenes before hitting the limit. When you use this option the scenes are not being downloaded to your device. They are just being streamed on it.
Once "downloaded" scene can be "downloaded" again indefinitely even after hitting the download limit.

P.S. i will try this "Rec2020" and upping the resolution in Okctoberfest scene in DeoVR. I never changed those options. Thanks for the info.

I want to share something that I recently noticed.
I still think that using heresphere makes most scenes look better (at least on quest2)
BUT
Fuckpassvr or slr or I don't know who made some optimalization of FuckPassVr scenes in DeoVR. The scenes were a bit too saturated or something like that. But lately it was reduced. At the beginning I was doing it myself in video settings of both players. But lately my saved changes in Deovr that I made on each fuckpassvr scene were reset back to default and all of them look a lot better and more natural from the start.
But only while watching in Deovr. In Heresphere you still have to make some video changes in settings to make it look more natural with less red colour notes.
So Fuckpassvr releases seem to be a rare exception were a scene without any adjustments looks better in Deovr than in Heresphere
