Vrsumo2017 I can all but guarantee you that meta is not trying to mess up their Quest 2 a product that is at least still in sustaining development.
Meta just laid off 11000 people with 726 of them being Seattle/Bellevue area where a lot of quest development happens. Between that and refocusing development resources on current/upcoming products (pro, quest3) teams always shrink for the existing “solid” product and this is a bug that likely slipped through the cracks.
I’m guessing it will get fixed soon.
