Also concur about a hands free option as the whole point is immersion. I'm glad to see these designs though as I personally like the "enclosed" designs opposed to the Handy's "Open" design. I've said this elsewhere but having it enclosed and possibly on multiple rails evenly disperses the "rebound" forces, and lightweight isn't always the best idea either. I know theoretically we all want small lighter devices, but in a practical use the combo of lightweight and a single rail on the handy IMO is the biggest detractor from immersion. One rail basically deflects off your body if you're not centered and ends up moving around way too much and the user is just fighting the forces. Then the light body doesn't help either as there's little resistance so its entirely up to the user to fight the forces by holding onto it super hard, or pressing it on yourself harder than needed. Kinda like shooting pistols. All else equal, a heaver pistol transmits less recoil than a light one since the mass alone acts as resisting force.

Also please brushless motors, and metal or glass reinforced polymer gearing (probably smoother but still strong gearing - especially if graphite coated or similar). That was a major failure on the keon where the actual drive mechanisms would eventually wear down and strip leaving you a useless product.

Finally, it looks like they should be fleshlight sleeve compatible? If so, I think that's the way to go if not a similar material and smaller form factor to ease the force on the motors and gearing. Otherwise, I've yet to find a handy sleeve or 3rd party sleeves that feel as realistic as the fleshlights.

    Oh heck--did anybody say it needs to be quiet? Handy is way too noisy and it breaks immersion unless I put some music on at the same time as I am playing an audio file and crank the music way up. It's one of the reasons I prefer Keon.

    BTW, did you all know that with a lot of VR headsets, you can play music on a player like VLC player at the same time you are watching a VR video? Combine it with the new BYOJ, it's kind of like making your own PMV.

    Boredd69 you say that hands-free is important and I agree, but you also say the problem with the Handy is it's too light and you have to fight the momentum of the motor - but this isn't a problem when using it hands free. So I think maybe you need to choose either big heavy + handheld or small light + hands-free.

    Expecting the user to clamp the device to something might be a big ask, in terms of attracting mainstream use. Women like dildos and vibrators because they're so discreet - if they had to secure their toys to a heavy object then they would be more of a niche product. The physics in the male stroker is something of an obstacle and it might take a generation before there's a breakthrough solution.

      vrpicasso Size and hands-free are related but not inversely so. Smaller means easier to rig. Smaller can be quiet. It depends on the motors, chassis and housing. Servos are a no-go. Dampening (e.g. tar sheets) can be very helpful. Use of rubber grommets is important. The fewer walls that can amplify sound the better.
      I have found is that it is useful to set the first design aside and start over. I do that a couple of times discarding or replacing components and eliminating unused space to minimize design and reduce sound. Aesthetics come after utility and ergonomics.

      If I may offer my 2 cents.
      12cm working distance is a touch short.
      A greater working distance that could be set at an upper limit for guys who would "fall out" other wise would be great though!

      This is why I say this... I have a launch, and it's great enough. But in videos where the gal is sucking just the tip, I have to use a towel or similar item to "space" the launch out so that it's only working the tip.

      Then when the video changed and she's deep throating to the base or riding deep etcetera, I have to remove the "spacer", which is quite annoying.

      But 2 axis sounds GREAT!

      I think higher weight is better regardless of hands free or not. If you're mounting it to something solid like a table it's kind of a moot point, but the momentum of the moving mechanism still doesn't have much resistance on a lighter device so you're transmitting force into the user or the mount. It's a major point I've noticed with the Keon vs Handy. Keon being the heavier device it wouldn't move nearly as much given the same force as the Handy.

      will there be a beta program for the product? i would like to help and provide feed back to make this the best product on the market. also i hope the sleeve moves below the base especial when mounted. this is some thing i hate about keon

        Can you guys allow us to change the delay in the Haptics Connect app in increments of 1 instead of 10. I always get around 5ms delay so choosing 0ms delay or -10ms both don't line up.

          thatthotok Hey, we already compensate for the number you see in the app, so with 0 ms it's actually applying the -5 ms for you in the background.

          Both pillows would have removable, washable covers, and hard foam within to keep its form and protect you from any inner plastic pieces that might need to be also added for rigidity.

            haptics I believe I'll never use the clamp/mount on a desk (I use my Handy while on my couch and bed), BUT I really like how it integrates with Pillow A. That's cool.

            Still, I prefer Pillow B. I like tactile feedback, so I'll enjoy grabbing it. The only thing that worries me about that option is stability and weight. Will it stay in place if I'm not constantly holding it? At least during long, slow strokes / more relaxed moments.

              thatoculusdude yes the cushion should hold it really nicely as long as its memory foam and somewhat tall enough - I use one not even custom fitted and it holds really well

              Bonus is I can use it sitting or lying and leave it lying around the house without worries!

              It would be great if the desk mount could include height adjustment too.

              I like pillow A since it looks like youu can be in a seated or laying position and your body weight holds the device down, Pillow B might be a bit unstable?

              Have you guys considered a neck strap like the Keon has? Super cheap but effective

                You should make sure that the new toy has very fast response time to hitting the pause or stop button.
                I'm not sure why there is a delay in pausing the Handy. Sometimes a longggg delay. I don't know if its because it's wifi or the Handy web page (I assume it is connected too) or the SLR app.

                The last maybe 7 out of 10 times that I have finished is because the Handy was going too fast or got too immersive. I paused it and nothing happens until it is too late. It's not a good way to end when you say to yourself "fucking no"
