ndndnd182 it's noticeably clearer then the gearvr, there really no screen door effect at all, but you still see sum glares but in vrp videos it's not there, it mostly at menus.

The battery in the back is a - for me, if you enjoy how you been with the strap with the gearvr you might not like it either. This my first headset with a battery in the back so it's gonna take time to get use to. The quest 3 suppose to have a strap so I'm definitely gonna buy that later when it come out. The pico kinda feels like the same weight as the gearvr but with a battery in back of your head. 🤷‍♂️

On the immerse side with vrp, man I had gearvr for about 4 years, I had a s7 then s10, the s7 was good, but s10 was a better picture with way less screen door, and I had plenty of fun with that. It was light weight, and lasted way longer then 2 hours like these headsets, the headsets you can plug them in if you got a cord next to your bed if you need it, but immersed more in pico from a gearvr imo it's the same G, it's a better picture sure but the battery in the back when your laying and you wanna move your up to look at face to face cg your reminded you have a battery, kinda sucks imo, sum users say it's not a problem but idk I don't get it, ima have to get use to it, if I decide to keep it.

If I had a my gearvr still and someone gave me pico for free I'd use it, but sell it to me for the price? Nah I'm be good with gearvr if I'm just using it for vrp. With sky box vr and my many files on my computer to stream to the gearvr was the shit. 👍

But the good thing about upgrading to a quest 2 or pico 4 is more sites are streamable on deo, so your able to check out more trailers on many vrsites .

Honestly I'd wait for quest 3 with a strap if your just using it for vrp, the games are cool, way better then gearvr, I'm not a gamer but I' be using creed boxing game for sum exercise. Cool game. Other games are cool I kinda get over them quick.

Kinda miss my gearvr, was so much simpler, snap the phone in and fap away.

You'll definitely be upgrading in quality and more options if you go with a pico 4 or q2 or a q3, but like I say ima strap guy so the battery in the back is a - for me, if it weren't for me wanting color pass through I'd be fine a gearvr or the quest 2 I use now.

But you should upgrade eventually, I'd wait for the quest 3 just cuz its suppose to have a strap. 👍 , picture quality might be same as or Lil better then the pico 4, quest 2 has these rings on the lenses that are noticeable and I hated that shit when upgrading from the gearvr, I was like this what yall been praising and hyped about my gearvr s10 looked better then this shit. 🤦‍♂️, after a while I just got use to it 🤷‍♂️

Quest 2 has this sweet spot that gearvr never had. For media/vrp viewing gearvr was great👍

      Is it me or in pt the scale of your environment looks lil bigger then normal, quest 2 black and Grey but the environment looks normal size.

      Also the lower light in the room the more fuzziness it gets?

            Honestly when I had gearvr with s10, and then quest 2 came out and evey one said how good it was I felt like I was missing out but once I got the q2 I wasn't to impressed visual wise, but the more options like watching more trailers on more vr sites with deovr was a pluse.

            Pico 4 good, but the battery in back I don't like, if it had a strap I would recommend it but since I know you been on the strap like I've been it possible you might like it either. Kinda sucks in laying down position, and that's how i mostly watch vrp.

            But yeah, ima be buying a quest 3 for sure, suppose to be lighter and strapped up 👍🥂

              Lol, I bursted out in laughter after using the pico for few days and then i put the quest 2 on and the smaller lenses is so noticeable after using the pico 4. I couldn't help to laugh 🤣

                I figured it out, I have to turn off "play boundry" off in order for it to work like quest 2 does with guardian off.

                Play boundary can be found in developers mode, which can be found by clicking on "software version" 7 times. Also that's where you find hand tracking 👍🥂

                    Vrsumo2017 Yes, low light makes the picture grainy. Best visual quality of PT you get with a natural lit room with daylight through the windows.

                        I compared the quest 2 and pico 4 pt and q2 looks normal size but pico looks a Lil bigger, wonder if this can be fixed threw the software with an updated 🤔

                        It's not extremely big, it's usable for my pt fetish tho. 👍, plus with color defiantly better then black and white.

                        Fov extremely bigger on pico 4, lens are supper clear, sum glare but not noticeable in games or video. But putting on the q2 after a few days on pico 4 the size of the q2 lens were laughable, smh, still good enough fov on q2 tho.

                        I saw one reviewer say the pico 4 not as bright as quest 2 but shit I have to turn the brightness down and it still looks good. 🤷‍♂️

                        Only thing I get annoyed by is the battery in the back, I've always used a strap so that's gotta get sum use to for now.

                          On pico 4, I noticed the brightness adjustment also determines how bright the passthrough is, wonder if they could add contrast and sharpness for options for the passthrough.

                          Quest 2 the same way, in the accessibility options it has contrast for the headset if you move it around you can see it effects the passthrough as well.

                          Gotta be possible to add. Hue, contrast, saturation and sharpness. 🤔

                          Be cool add sum color filtering to your environment and adjust the deo coloring for models to match your color. Be great while haf 👍😏

                          Be cool you could add shade to the models, like I have my lamp faced toward my viewing area. Adding shade I could add sum to make it look like the light reflecting off the model. Like nior vr videos 🤔

                          Man, I have a love hate relationship with this pico 4 🤦‍♂️ , it's this battery in the back, smh 😒

                          mnmlikereal I just order a amvr facgaurd for pico 4, I've seen a video review and if you have vrcover, their cushion will fit on it, which means my fabric cushion I normally use for quest 2 will fit it too cause it fits on vrcovers face guard

                          but the pico 4 cover not to bad, way more comfortable then quest 2 default facegaurd, that shit made my face hurt after like 30mins it felt awful for me, plus my face don't agree with leather, But the pico cushion, it's good for bout an hour but i hate the extra space it has for glasses it makes me feel like adjusting it while I'm wearing it. Its like you say its not snug, they say making it tighter helps, but fuck that cuz then that makes more facegaurd imprint on my face. Idk 🤦‍♂️

                            mnmlikereal the amvr cover worked great, fits snug and my fabric cushion fits perfectly, feels like I'm wear my quest 2 again but with battery in back 🙄🤦‍♂️
