This concerns the Chinese version of the Pico Video app preloaded into the domestic Pico 4 headset. There are substantial differences between the global Pico Video and the domestic Chinese Pico Video app. Most users outside of China have the global version.
The Chinese version has a Live section, with at least one and up to 30 simultaneous streaming live VR channels, all in 8K. Far more channels are active when it is afternoon or evening in China. Sometimes there are dancing girls; almost all streams are female. The channels seem to be coming from a special VR cam studio run or sponsored by Pico. The visual clarity is amazing when compared to the lower clarity in SLR's VR cam streams. Some of the girls have a high level of interaction with the VR camera, touching the viewer's face and going into seduction mode.
Of course, in the China version nothing is explicit or very raunchy, and mouth kisses are short. The girls show no cleavage but midriffs are often visible and some dance moves could be found in Euro-American lap dances.
In the VR Videos section of Pico Video there are dancing girl videos in both the Chinese and global versions of the Pico Video app. But the sexier moves seem to be found only videos in the Chinese version. Some dancing is performed to the 2006 hit tune "Buttons". In one video, two dancers essentially have a dance-off to see which dancer can entice the viewer most effectively. Some of the dancing girl videos include AR effects, where little shapes (hearts, stardust, etc.) float down, up, or across the screen. Half the effects are in each eye, producing an unreal effect because of the variation in what each eye is seeing.
Another major difference is the Films section found only in the Chinese app, which includes a 3D sub-section.
Locations for the Chinese version apk have been discussed on Discord and Facebook. Installing the Chinese version has reportedly resulted in both functional versions of Pico Video being present in the user's Pico library.
