LordCrash I think that's the exact answer. There is a difference in how VR is approached in Japan and the rest of the world.
There, there is always a movie script with scenes and dialogues (whether it is good or bad script is another thing) and the girls behave, talk and dress like ordinary girls. And those dialogues are in the sex scenes, too.
Here they dress, make-up and behave in a very different way (I personally can't deal with the tons of makeup and absurd false eyelashes). And once the sex starts it's just that, with different variations of "Fuck, yes fuck, shit!" or "Oh my god!".
The result is very different, and that is perfectly seen in this film shot in Japan, compared to those shot in the USA or Europe with Melody.
