Second item of clarity. I have the ability to link my android phone to my PC, to my knowledge this cannot be done if the phone and the pc are not on the same wifi network. So, offered as validation that I am in fact on the same network.

JDibe Deeplink button will only work on same device haptics connect is installed on

Sorry. its getting a bit confusing now - just to be clear - what is the main problem still outstanding on your end?

  • What do you mean by 'it does not permanently pair with haptics connect?
  • Does the Keon actually connect and can you play scripts on slr in interactive category?
  • Does the Keon connection remain or does it end up just disconnecting on its own?

Did some more experimenting, think I have defined the problem. I have always tried to use it from local drive, have the vid file and the script file both saved in the same folder and did not alter either of the names. All this time, that's what I have been trying to do. Today, for the hell of it, I decided to try and run it directly from the site, and that works! When the Keon started running, I checked and the error message was gone. So my problem is that I cannot get it to work running it from saved local files.

In case you ask, I am accessing my local files through my headset on the SLR app. When I am looking at my local files, I have gone into settings and the interactive switch for haptics is on. I can run the VR file, but there is no interactive function.

JDibe Thanks for the update - if streaming is working, then its working as intended, so thats good

For local folder playback, youre filenames likely arent 100% matching, or in the same folder - make sure those are matching 100% and simplified with alphanumeric characters only and it should work

So, everything is same folder and 100% matching, I guess modifying the file names to alphanumeric only I can try, but I have a concern. Doesn't part of the filename sometimes contain info used by the headset for rendering parameters? Like 200 fisheye is the only example I can think of since I am new at all this, but doesn't that require the "_MKX200" to stay in the filename for proper playback? That underscore isn't an alphanumeric character right? Also, I don't know where there is a list of all the things within file names that must stay in the name.

JDibe - That underscore is ok to keep, avoid using anything else that is not abc or 123

Tried and maybe I just don't get it. So, would you mind doing to these two names, with minimal changes, modification of the file names that would make this work?

      Vid name:
      SLR_SLR Originals_Make Plays, Not Grades_2900p_22137_MKX200

      Script name:
      SLR_SLR_Originals_Make_Plays_Not_Grades_2900p_22137_MKX200_Final_Realcumber.funscript

I tried a few things. Tried making them as simple as Test. Tried making them precisely identical all the way to the end of MKX200. Tried that same precisely identical thing, with .funscript added on script name.

JDibe - looks like you did not change the video filename?

You need to have the video filename exactly match the script name, and placed in the same folder, just like this:

        video .mp4 file = SLR_SLR_Originals_Make_Plays_Not_Grades_2900p_22137_MKX200_Final_Realcumber
        script .funscript = SLR_SLR_Originals_Make_Plays_Not_Grades_2900p_22137_MKX200_Final_Realcumber

Of course that worked. I was trying to correct one to match the other manually, simply prone to mistakes. So, I had an oh-duh moment, copied one then went into the other and pasted it. Problem solved....jeez.

Anyway, Realcumber thanks for working with me. Me and my Keon are having great fun together now!
