Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Oculus, may need to consider reducing prices to stay competitive in the market. It's noted that users who are willing to provide their data to Meta to save money on a headset may also be willing to do the same for other platforms such as TikTok/ByteDance and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

It's important to note that the decision to share personal data with any platform should be made with careful consideration of privacy and security concerns. Users should always review and understand the privacy policies of any platform they choose to use, and make informed decisions about sharing their data accordingly.
