First off can we stop with the politics on a porn forum? I’m also tired of people without guns talking about then. Even without visa to buy a gun legally from a store in my state. You have to submit to an fbi background Check, and sign a form that if you lie on you’re going to federal prison and becoming a felon. This form says I am not a felon, I am not a drug user, I have never been committed due to mental instability. You have to agree too each of these individually because if you’re lying about any one of these things it counts as a felony. I’m sick of people comparing everything to guns. A gun is a tool of protection ,to get food, to fight yours or other’s governments when they put their boot on your fucking neck. I’ve had bullets shot into my house,watched a lone gunman fire into a crowd from my front window, and opened my door to a stranger who’d been shot just looking for anyone to help them. Not once did I think wow if only there were stricter gun laws. Because these people don’t go to stores buy their tools of murder. I grew up in and now live in an area where I’m glad every day when I wake up that I own a gun that is legal so when the types of villains that plagued my childhood decide they want what’s mine I can now fight back. Fuck porn you can jerk off with your imagination. When monsters are at your door you too have to become a monsters to meet their ferocity. Stop with all the gun comparison to mundane bullshit because one day we’re all going to wish we had then for one reason or another and when that time comes I hope we’re not more concerned with jerking off. The climate is unrecoverable, the global economy is in shambles, and we’re at the brink of global war when this time everyone involved will have nukes. Lets keep the porn forum about porn.

BeltManFen First off can we stop with the politics on a porn forum?

Funny how I read the first 19 comments without thinking this thread was about politics. I thought it was about an issue that may be vital to the survival of SLR--whether credit card companies will continue to process payments for SLR (and other porn sites).

But to be forthright, I'm wrong about a lot of things a lot of times, so maybe this thread was about politics.

BeltManFen no one made this political until you did. I don’t get American’s obsession with guns and the whole world has seen that they get into the hands of the wrong people whatever your FBI background checks are. No other peacetime country in the world has people living in so much fear that they feel that they need guns to protect themselves in their homes or out on the street. We just get on with our lives and don’t have to worry about people shouting up schools or cinemas/clubs because virtually no one has a gun.

I don't live in America. I live under a socialist dictator where guns aren't allowed. But if I did live in America I'd feel safer with someone like you carrying a gun. Just don't let it be stolen or let it be played with by kids. And use it to protect everybody when the police take 30 min to respond if you ever encounter a lunatic madman going on a shooting spreed. Owning a gun is the responsibility of keeping it safe and keeping others safe with it. Peace through war.

[deleted] I appreciate your reply. We live in a world full of cowards that would rather let others hold their lives in their hands than empower themselves and their countrymen. It reminds me of a story I heard the other day about how a bus full of people in japan let one teenager with a butcher knife hijack the bus stab two women to death and mutilate another. Why? Someone else was surely coming to save them and that mindset is poison.

They will. Authoritarian regimes want ALL the power. When you disagree with fake election results they need the means to stop you from protesting. Just look at Justin Trudeau, he knows how to do it. Designate your political enemies as dissidents, make their views illegal, take their money, and then take their guns (in the case of Canada, very very few guns) ...

For the record, many of the GDP women were rabid Trump supporters and even posed with him, but the big scandal (which no journalist would touch) was the Bernie Sanders connection, since one of the GDP models was literally his spokes-model in a viral video.

petermc Comparing what’s okay for guns vs porn is objectively political. It implies “guns hurt people, but they don’t get tried as bad as us.” It’s no different than the “guns have more rights than women” bullshit that came up after roe v wade.

America has many mass shootings not because America has their second amendment but because their politicians are either completely corrupt or very stupid. They don't punish gangsters caught with vast arsenals of illegal guns yet go after Joe Sunday school teacher with a gun in the bedroom dresser in case he is confronted by a burglar. They let teenage dropouts with an extensive history of psychopathic animal torture spend more than $2,000 for an advanced firearm online while going after law abiding farmers in the midwest that keep a shotgun or 22 caliber to fend the hen house from foxes.

America is the only country working hard to create harsher laws against crime while employing prosecutors who refuse to prosecute or enforce even the craziest and most dangerous offenses imaginable. Back to the topic at hand. Got a machete and feel the urge to bust up a local food joint? In America, no problem: get out of jail free. Run a porn company where 20-something aged women have consensual sex to entertain the desperate middle classes? You'll have more problems with the credit card companies than the president's son after a weekend binge with a room full of hookers at Chateau Marmont.

They want you talking about guns and abortion so you aren't thinking about record-breaking inflation, an impending gas shortage (because America just used most of their strategic reserve), rolling blackouts in the only state to forbid gas powered lawnmowers, a supply chain crises that has just added $100 to Quest 2 (and may eliminate safe drinking water in minority communities), massive spikes in violent crime (including unsolved homicides), the arrival of 2 million undocumented migrants since 2021 (including convicts purposefully released from prison to destroy America), shocking irregularities in your last election (which crazy old Trump was actually able to prove "determinative" to his supporters), the reality that wind farms and solar panels are less environmentally sound than mini-nuclear, American's loss of over 85 billion dollars of weapons in Afghanistan (including military bases now operated by China), and the inevitable breadlines that are to come in the months ahead.

That basically it’s not up to them or any private company to be moral arbiters and decide what legal products and services people can and cannot buy. That sounds great right? Except when it comes to porn, that stance doesn’t seem to apply, they absolutely do make moral judgements on what legal content porn studios are allowed to sell.

No one was saying guns are bad and porn is good, just poking fun at the clear untruths being said in that statement. It could have been any product they were talking about, it just happened to be guns in this case.
