I want to be blocked from SLR camgirls

Sorry if this is TMI....

Currently sexlikereal.com is the only adult website permitted through my ISP settings. I have it configured this way because it allows me to successfully control and manage my porn habit, and this has worked very well for me.

The access to camgirls that comes with SLR poses a problem and a significant addiction potential for me, and I do not want to spend time or money in this way.

I regard SLR as a facility for "sexual wellbeing" which works well, but camgirls are messing this up for me.

Please please could you enable an option to block access to camgirls from accounts, (or just specifically block this for me somehow?)

(Also, dreamcam.com is specifically blocked by my ISP rules, but for some reason this doesn't work and I can still access cams.)

I raised this request via email support but I was told it wasn't possible. I'm going "public" with this just in case I'm not alone and others have the same request.

Yes, I should just exercise willpower. That works fine until I have a rough day.

CaulayM Would hiding all the camgirls content help? (in the meantime until SLR can add a real block). That's pretty much what I have done for myself with some css overrides but that's also easily disabled. For me the reason to hide it is just because it's annoying that it clutters up the thumbnails browsing of regular content, sidebar, menu with highlight etc, so not really to prevent access or addiction I just don't want to see it everywhere.

I'm away from home at the moment but could whip something up to specifically hide camgirls elements in a couple days.

Just to clarify the above - I cannot access dreamcam directly (so the block does work), but the cams are still accessible through SLR.

I understand where you are coming from. Try prayer and/or meditation., or going for a walk. You can even unplug your modem for periods of time (if possible). It's an ongoing struggle. I thought I had sworn off porn years ago, but it never goes away. I've just learned to moderate my use.

I think this forum needs an addiction/wellness category (but none of that No Fap crap) to encourage more of this type of talk. Porn is not the enemy, but the struggle is real.

Understand you folks are busy and when you and your busy staff have time, I'd like to expand the suggestion to maybe even be able to do more to help folks who have addiction issues.

Maybe even a setting that a user can set to lock himself (or herself) out of the account after so many hours. The lockout resets every day at a time designated by the user. Or it could be set to lock out during work hours. Or whenever.

VR sex combined with interactive toys is so easy to access and so lifelike sometimes, it's easy to indulge a sex addiction without the work of having to seduce or pay someone to have sex.

And it is a very powerful addiction. With a little weed and an edging contraption I built using a Keon, I can keep myself on the edge for three or four hours at a time. It feels like one long orgasm.

If I could, I'd spend 10 hours a day using it.

I manage to keep my habit under control (most of the time), but it's a real temptation to indulge when I should be doing other things like work and spending time with my family.

Giving users more control over that would surely be in line with SLR's Sexual Wellness marketing

CaulayM Sorry it would only work for browsers on desktop, or any browsers that have a way of loading custom CSS. Unfortunately it won't work in any VR app, that's something SLR/DeoVR guys would have to implement. DeoVR does have a browser but afaik doesn't support custom CSS, I think the SLR site changes to a native layout inside DeoVR anyway.

It's fairly easy to customize some parts of a website but in-app things I can't change. It works for me as I almost never use the apps to browse/stream, just prefer to download scenes I want from the site and only use the file browser of a VR player.
