Watch downloaded files

I’m sure this question has been asked to death but how do I watch downloaded files on my oculus quest 2? I want to download the files onto my pc and watch via airlink. I just tried loading local files using deovr and airlink but nothing played

I have tried downloading HEVC codec for windows 11 through microsoft store but I still can't play some of my videos

Why would you want that? Play it directly on the Quest, it is easier and also better quality.

Not necessary, if the stream gives you the exact same file as you can download quality will obviously be identical.

Besides you can also download to your quest and play the file local on your Quest 2.

In any case Air link will always lead to at least a slight reduction in quality, as the video is decoded on the PC and then the resulting image is lossy encoded and sent to your quest over your WLAN, which always leads to a quality loss.
