SLR Originals seem to be a lot closer than before.

Is it me or has the SLR Originals been a lot closer lately? I find myself having a hard time focusing sometimes. The glory hole one is right in front of her face and you can't see any of the body. The positions in the other recent ones are too close sometimes too. In the cowgirl scenes, it's like they are sitting on your stomach and are way higher than they should be. They used to be so perfect and now they are different.

Gartside This is always a bit of a debated subject, but I would completely agree when it comes to the newest gloryhole scene. But it should be said that it was filmed with a new camera before all the kinks were worked out, so it's not necessarily the best example.

In general I've definitely heard this brought up before, and I myself have certainly noticed it with some specific scenes in the CG position. "Welcome Party with a Bang" and "Ripped Tights 3" both come to mind.

Most of the time I don't notice this being an issue, so I'm genuinely curious whether for you it's been a long-running thing or something more recent with SLR Originals? It definitely seems to be something that varies from person to person in how they visually prefer scenes, but that's why I'm curious as far as when you noticed it or whether it's just always been the case.

My two cents--I like it closer for a lot of positions and not so close for others. That said, I find the zoom, pitch, roll, height, slide, and other adjustments sufficient to set 90% of the videos to my liking. But sometimes--nothing seems to work--they are just shot at bad angles or distances.

The distance of the SLR Originals cowgirls is correct. It is at the actual distance of a cowgirl, and there is no problem focusing.

If you can't focus maybe you have a problem with your player or with the zoom, you don't have the FOV set right . SLR uses Fisheye and it causes problems for some people.

Yo need to set fisheye and FOV to 200 degrees in your player.

What I agree with you is that in the seated cowgirls they always put the camera very low, at the level of the tits, and you only see the girl's chin.

The seated cowgirls should be face to face, like in JAV VR, but I've been asking for this for months without luck, it's a losing battle.

Or maybe people are different and what works for some doesn't work that well for others. Maybe people expect different things from their porn. Maybe people already have the perfect settings in their player and headset and still have issues with focus in close up stuff. Maybe some people don't enjoy seeing almost nothing in their porn and maybe some people don't like to be forced to turn their head pretty much all the time while never being able to see stuff like tits and pussy or tits, pussy and face in the same frame. So many possibilities, people can be so different...

RockyMtHigh I'm sorry, but I don't use Quest 2 or DEO VR and I don't know how it works.

When you have image problems in VR, and most people do, myself included, because each pair of eyes are different and the IPD with which a scene is shot is different from the IPD of our eyes, the best thing to do is to use an advanced player, like HereSphere for example.

In HereSphere there are options to adjust to the millimeter the separation between lenses, the degrees, the zoom, and many other options, and thus adjust the movies to your eyes. I use the PC VR version, but I guess the Quest 2 option also has these options.

I personally like the SLR distances. I almost always feel like the girl is too far away in most videos. And a lot of times also to big but this is getting better.
