I am just talking about the clarity of the video. Content really is a matter of taste but visual quality is not. I think its bad for the reputation of the site to feature studios that release nothing but blurry videos. And its much worse to release them yourself (SLR Originals). Postponing a scene to edit it and uploading a different, completely broken scene the very next day is a terrible look for SLR. Here are some suggestions :
- Add a filter (slider) that allows users to filter for quality. For example 4k+/5k+/6k+/7k+/8k+. Upscaling doesnt count. In general please make upscaling more transparent.
- Somehow incentivize studio to shoot better quality. I have no idea how your financial deals with the studios work but I would suggest better quality = more money.
- Dont upload broken SLR videos. But if you do, release them out of the schedule so they dont block the spot of a legit video.
