Hey.. I am having this same exact issue and it's been driving me crazy!
I had no issues using SLR for about 2 weeks, but this past (third) week has been plagued by this issue... After the first week I started getting this notification upon launch notifying me of the new app update.. I ignored it at first, with no issues, and then this started when I finally decided to update it..
I have uninstalled and then re-installed both the new version of the app, as well as the old one once I noticed this issue, and nothing changes or helps to solve the problem.
I've also factory reset my oculus go device and that did nothing, which was such a letdown as I had to go through the getting started process all glover again.
Please help! I am using a MAC so the instructions above are generally irrelevant , although if I am right in assuming that "debugging mode" is "developer mode" on my side, then your suggestion didn't work =(
