Camera Tilt on Quest Meta 2 not working need help ?

petermc Thanks for information, I'm charging my Oculus quest 2 just now so I will let you know how I get on when it's fully charged, I'm annoyed that I lost my previous settings and it's all changed because trying to work out the new settings on SLR deovr app is a nightmare, before I didn't have to hold the shoulder button all I needed to do was tilt the left joystick up and down to change camera angle while watching a video , also it was a lot easier to change your settings before as there was a tilt option in the settings, why do they have to make things complicated 🙄

Redhulk50 I will say that I am not using the SLR app so I don’t know if that works different. I’m just using the DeoVR app.

The Playa app is much easier as you literally just push the thumbstick up to tilt up and down to tilt down. Only works with a handful of sites though and freezes a lot more on the larger files.

petermc Hi I too am using the Deovr app ,
When I hold down the left primary index trigger and pull down and up on the left primary thumbstick the camera moves tilts down and up , But here is the problem .

The Camera tilt moves at a snail's pace .
The image becomes distorted and the models face becomes small and unnatural looking .

I really need the Tilt button to work properly as Cowgirl , Upshots, Standing blow jobs looking down, missionary looking down , Face sitting scenes will be useless and less immersive .

On the Deovr there is a controller settings which takes you to player controller settings, global settings etc
Can you tell me the correct configuration to get the tilt button to work correctly at a fast speed were it doesnt contort the models face ?

I use the right controller and it’s trigger + left and right to tilt the camera up and down. I’ve never noticed the issues you’re talking about. It moves quick enough for me and never noticed the distortion either.

petermc Thanks , did you have change your settings to get it to work ?
I never use the right controller unless it's to quit the app, when using the left controller when I press on the left trigger it brings up the menu , so when using the left controller how did I get it to work like your right controller with tilt and normal tilt speed so that the camera moves up and down with ease ?

Honest answer is that I don’t know. I don’t use the left controller at all so am not sure what functionality it has. I haven’t tampered with any of the settings though. They’re just the default ones as far as I know.

I’ve just realised that I may be confusing you a bit with saying the trigger. When I say hold down the trigger, I mean the button lower down on the handle on the side, not the big button at the front.

petermc The button on the handle of the Oculus Touch Controllers is the grip button not the trigger button.
And in the controller button assignment menu the tilt function is now called pitch. It can be assigned easily to thumbs up/down button without need of a second button.

Samsonite121 I think I’ve tried that before and struggled to do that. I will have to give it another go at some point.

Redhulk50 I managed to change it so can now just move thumbstick up and down on right controller to tilt, I don’t need to hold the grip button down. I will say it’s not a super fast tilt but it’s quick enough for me and don’t notice any distortion.
