petermc Most seem to pander to a specific set of people who like soft, intimate, vanilla GFE porn which I guess historically has been their largest fan base. That’s who most VR scenes seem to be aimed at.
For many studios I think this is just a necessary requirement to survive as a business at this particular moment in time within the world of VR porn. VR porn itself is already very niche within the porn-world at large, and I feel that (generally speaking) many studios simply have to try to cast the widest possible net in order to be profitable, which often includes the vanilla content, GFE, etc.
I think we're at a point where this is slowly starting to shift though, as might be clear from some of the new studios popping up in the last year especially, with many studios (including SLR Originals) starting to include more non-vanilla content, etc.
I feel pretty confident that we're going to continue seeing more and more variety of content and niches represented going forward, especially with how quickly the VR market base is expanding, which makes it possible for more "non-standard" and niche-focused studios to survive.
