I have a question. I am familiar with the performance/graphics tradeoff given the tools in sidequest, and have played around quite extensively with a bunch of different settings, even tanking the graphics to bring the FPS up to a consistent 60FPS (with seems to be the defaulted captured video FPS rate). Even in doing so, severely lowering the resolution rate, keeping 120hz refresh rate, increased CPU4, and playing with the FFR, whenever I check the FPS reader on the video playback UI IMMEDIATELY as i bring up the UI, it shows 30-45 FPS range. the FPS quickly jumps up to a maintained near 120 when the UI is displayed, as im sure the playback is less intensive that way. So my only measure of seeing the FPS display for the video playback itself is when I immediately open the UI and see the FPS it had been running at. Again, it somehow stays in the 30-45 FPS range. Im confused as to why I am not able to achieve a consistent 60FPS playback even when I load the quest2 settings for performance.
If anyone is able to shed light on this, how to optimize FPS to ensure 60FPS and therefore no frame loss on the majority of videos (and hopefully not have absolute awful graphics), please let me know what is the appropriate sidequest settings.
Thank you so much!!!
