I can tell that JAV isn't that popular here amongst all the users here, but I am a fan lol. If I can request more VR JAV, specifically from S1 studios.
JAV S1 VR

Cungstah one thing great about SLR is having JAV content.
Just some issues with Jav not being popular: Much content is do not have download icon and watch only. A lot of quote on quote 'amateur' content is JAV stars being unnamed, which makes fans feel like we should be surprised (or just me) These cannot change at least I know.
What I'd like to see and could improve more JAV fans: An AMWF JAV section. Content that doesn't have a download link, become smaller so more viewers can download.
SLR is a good starter to content you would otherwise have to get from a 'DRM' japanese language site. JAV has so much potential. It would be great to bring more JAV stars and america exclusive Jav stars like June Lovejoy to america.
I love JAV VR, 90% porn I watch is JAV VR. The tragedy at SLR is that you can't download JAV. I would spend a lot of money if I could download JAV VR.
Looking forward to the release of SLR JAV Originals . Too many years of waiting already...
I love JAV and watch it often! The last couple of weeks, probably at least 50% of the time.
If JAV were not censored (which isn't going to happen), I'd probably watch it 80% of the time. I'm not sure why, but I find it more immersive.
I mostly watch JAV these days, intimacy is unmached, even despite language bareer. Fingers crossed for Japanese SLR originals soon

mebejoe I'm not sure why, but I find it more immersive.
It is exactly because it is much more inmersive. They are natural girls wearing real clothes, with natural bodies and natural make-up, no stupid false eyelashes.
They are always close to the camera, they look at you in the eyes, talk to you with natural and realistic dialogues (even if you don't understand them), they kiss you, caress you, hug you, smile at you... It is much more immersive and real.
In western VR porn everything is "Oh fuck, oh my god, fuck! Oh shit!".
Natch This exactly. I always felt JAV producer just really get the whole VR thing. How they use proximity, buildup of a scene, let the personality of the girl shine through a bit, non formulaic setups, etc. Even though there are a few exceptions in Western porn they still pale in comparison to a good JAV scene in this regard. Too bad I can't follow what they are saying though. Still even then it feels way more immersive to me.
Everyone saying JAV VR is immersive is right. Difference between west porn vr and Jav porn vr: JAV stars actually kiss the vr guy performer, as in west vr porn 90 percent female performers pretend - which lead to female west pornstars doing a blowfish in your face, looking ridiculous.
I also notice in AMWF vr jav scenes: foreign stars don't look away from the camera, so the JAV directors do a great job.
fenderwq Exactly. In JAV VR the girls act, not just fuck like in western VR. There are exceptions of course, some SLR Original works are great, just because they copy some of the best features of JAV VR.
I hope very soon the VR players add an IA to translate japanese to english subtitles or other languages in real time. It would be awesome.
+1 requesting S1 studios VR
S1, Moodyz, OPPAI, KiraKira, IdeaPocket, Muteki, Madonna, etc probably will not be on SLR any time soon. These are all owned by DMM which follows Primer (2004 movie) logic when it comes to licensing and distribution outside of Japan (with the seemingly one exception of a huge Taiwan site whose parent company they may already own a big stake in). Foreigners want it, but can't buy it so pirate sites proliferate yet they and others in the JAV industry can't fathom why piracy for their content is as bad as it is.
We periodically do ask DMM if we can at least show older content on SLR, but it's always a no. On the flip side, unless things have changed, the only real difference between a "S1 VR movie" and ones we show on SLR is the casting. The crews and gear are usually one in the same as a lot of VR shooting is outsourced (as is most JAV where production crews usually are not salaried employees but freelancers).
