A couple of feedback notes after testing out the feature...

I like to hide videos that I have already downloaded. That way when I view all VR videos in DeoVR and click on next/right arrow and go through videos, I don't see them again.

Currently my approach is that I favorite them with the heart icon so I can keep track of what I want to download and then I look at my favorites list to download them. I will also favorite them if I've downloaded them somewhere else so I don't download them again.

Currently when I go and hide a video that I favorite, I am noticing that it hides it but on some of the videos it is also removing the favorite/heart on it. The process to go through and hide all my favorited videos also took a long time for me. I had to go through and click and open each individual video in new tabs and click hide.

It would be nice if you could set a universal toggle on/off option for favorited videos that hides them all but doesn't remove the favorite selection on it. The downside to the way it's currently designed is if I am away from my downloads and just want to stream stuff, I might then want to actually see some of the favorites again.

So an option might be to allow you to toggle favorites: on/off/only

Another cool option would be to allow to view only favorites that way you see only the best of the best. This would be ideal for people that are streaming a lot more than downloading and they favorite stuff to view again later. If they are in a hurry they might turn on favorites only and just go through streaming just those scenes.

Currently you could just go to the my collection/favorites tab to do this but if you hid some of them from being displayed in the overall catalogue, some of the favorite tags likely were removed so it's going to throw off that data.

Glad there's the ability to see hidden content in user profile. Said to myself I wasn't going to use this feature, then decided to just hide all studios that do not have at least 1 video favorited (to watch) in the past six months of releases. Turns out it was more than expected, but it should be fun reviewing each studio year-end to find any 1-offs I might enjoy. Just have to remember to do it on an empty stomach. 🥴🤮

There was one suggestion on Reddit asking if you could hide the Japanese/Jav video content that doesn't allow for download....

I think this would be a great option if there is a way to do this.

It looks like you can hide the "censored" category:

So that means you could then turn on show Japanese/Jav but with your Hide on the Censored tag, it would hide the censored, so that's pretty cool. I'll add that to the guide write up I did.

Just wondered, when this is deployed for the app as well, will content I’ve taken the time to hide via web automatically be hidden in the app? I’m presuming this is a yes, that content with the hidden flag is in a database that all platforms read from but thought I’d ask anyway. Don’t want to waste time hiding studios or category tags if it doesn’t eventually benefit the headset experience. Thanks for implementing this functionality!!

      So since it's easier to filter unwanted content maybe don't hide JAV by default? It's strange that most obscure fetishes show up on the front page but not anything japanese. Tbh it wouldn't even bother me if the app remembered my preferences, but having to turn it on everytime is annoying

        I really appreciate being able to clean up my feed. I look forward to seeing a feed that predominately features videos and models I find exciting.

        I have one request - could you please make it easier to hide models? Right now, we can hide specific videos straight off the feed or while watching the video, but we're not able to hide models unless we click onto the performer's page.

        Unfortunately I've had a bad experience with this feature so far. When it was announced I started hiding everything I didn't want to see on the desktop site. I also clicked hide on all the videos I had already favorited/downloaded/seen.

        Later on I noticed my favorites were empty and it unfavorited all of my favorites when I clicked to hide them. Later when I went back to the menu to try to add them back, it gives no easy way to launch them again to add back to favorites but keep hidden. None of them are clickable in the hidden menu and it only shows the last few videos and not all of them. So I basically blew up my account with it by unfavoriting everything via the hide feature. haha

        The feature last I checked still hasn't been rolled out to the DeoVR app and I was using my favorite/hearted videos to keep track of what I have already seen/downloaded and now I have no idea and nothing is hidden. So it's sort of ruined using SLR for me right now.

        Any ETA when it will be rolled out on the Deovr app? My suggestion would be to not remove them from people's favorites just because they click to hide them. They may be hiding them because they already seen/downloaded them but want to keep them in their favorites still.

          I may be underthinking this but my understanding of the hide function is purely so you don’t have to wade through a load of stuff you don’t like to get to the stuff you do. I don’t think it’s supposed to be for removing stuff that you do like but have already seen. I can see what you’re trying to do but think you’re perhaps expecting too much to be able to hide things and have them visible at the same time. Maybe they will be able to do it though.

          I have the tag "Silicone" blocked and I keep getting videos with silicone boobs,.

          It happens with "Raw Taboo: Boy, Peek of Joy - Busty Brunette Stepmom Penny Barber SLR Original" and "The Happiest Ending - Erotic Massage with Asian Pornstar Ultra HD SLR Original".

          It's quite annoying.

            That's fair. We're always working to improve the tags/keyword feature, but you're right - there are definitely videos that slip through because they are missing a tag/etc.

            All I can really say for now is that I know the team is constantly working on improving this feature.

                Penny's tits are indeed nicely done

                  Philip Maybe are well done, but they don't look real, so they are a turn off for me and I don't want to watch or buy movies with fake tits. In fact it is the reason I can't subscribe to SLR and I have to buy individual titles, because most of the movies have fake tits. And well done or bad done, the fact is they are silicone boobs. So if you implement a system where you can block the tag "Silicone", then the videos need to be correctly classified. Also those of SLR Originals.

                  Of course errors can appear with the tags as justsomedude101 says, but these two titles are new.

                  The video of Penny has the "Boobs" tag, but not "Silicone" tag . I find it quite strange, to be honest.

                      AntonVR Not to be rude but it's almost june and I exclusively use my subscription on quest. Is there any ETA for this feature on the app?
