BungaBunga Very creative my dude, nicely done ️. TBH I'm a bit surprised "professionally-made" mounts aren't really a thing (excluding 3d printed ones/etc.)
Hands-free FTW
I made one with a monitor stand, a piece of wood and some hose clamps. I don't have a picture here at the office.
The monitor stand is like this one and I put the "feet" under my butt to hold it in place. The monitor stand makes it adjustable without too much fuss.

I used it a lot for a while, but honestly, the Handy is too damn stimulating. I can't last more than about 10 minutes (on a good day)--and I'm old and don't have that problem with real women IRL.
BungaBunga Great thread to have and good tips, but I do recommend a simpler approach (if you can access to a nearby coffee table/desk)
RealcumberScripts -- I tried that and wasn't very happy with the result. Much happier with my monitor stand set up.
RealcumberScripts
This does not look like it would be stiff enough (no pun intended) to be useful with a real dick inside.
sorry to hear guys - I honestly use it constantly and its super simple and fast to setup and hide, and definitely more than stable (and yes with a real dick inside lol)
- whats the main issues thats not working well with it? Are you sure you bought one with the stiff flexible arm?
RealcumberScripts ive tried a few handsfree metnods and the gooseneck phone holder mounts do work ok, but after using a few more stable ideas similar to the monitor mount setups and also a vice setup on a desk, i rarerly use the gooseneck system anymore, the device just bounces way to much for it to compare even when it is rested on something, for me at least.
the vice is solid and works out the box. can angle it in anyway to suit your needs
vise
vaptorOzzie yeah thats the same 1 i use most of the time. On a desk It is the most stabile solution ive found so far. Been trying to work a way to use the vice while laying down, think im going to have to find something online or failing that build some kind of metal frame.
vaptorOzzie Was going to suggest this myself ️

dojimmy Think the monitor mount mnmlikereal mentioned might do the trick + the vise. Otherwise I remember a post (maybe on r/thehandy?) that suggested using a stool like this Ikea one: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/kyrre-stool-birch-60416925/ with only 1 leg assembled to use as the mount for the vise.
justsomedude101 nice cheers Dude, Im impressed I just managed to escape the ikea website with only 1 item in my basket, will let you all know how well the stool works with the vice in a few days.
I am going to leave my contribution in case someone lazy wants something simple, they only need a box (the same one from Oculus works) and velcro. You have to stick two light velcro strips on the front of the handy (a small one on top and a small one on the bottom), two velcro strips with the same length on the box and it's ready for fun.
In the case of not having enough support and move sideways, place velcro on a small box (box of toothpaste, medicine, etc) at the bottom and on the side to use it for lateral support on the handy.

If you all want to see pictures of this... well basically I'm calling the robotic wankatron 5000 (patent not pending) someone will need to talk me through how to upload images.
First impression of the 1 legged Ikea Stool with vice. Not sure what to say, that was fucking insane. Works perfectly, keeps the unit as stable as the vice on a desk, but with added freedom of movement.
Phenomenal for laying down and added very deep level of immersion on for rcg and CG scenes.
Also tried in a recliner where I would normally use a gooseneck phone holder, far more stable and easy to adjust angles etc.
Gaming chair setup I would normally have the unit in the vice attached to desk, which requires quite exact positioning with the chair and doesn't allow you to lean back much without repositioning but this is so much easier as the device basically moves with you and the chair.
Using the Vice and stool saves having to undo the vice to move the unit. Though different positions did require a little adjustment to get angles right, that Is very easy with a vice.
All in all pretty good value for money at around £35 UK in total for the vice and the IKEA 3 legged stool to make a handsfree handy mount that works in most situations. Will have to see what I can make from the 2 spare legs
Think this will be my preferred way of using the handy from now on.
dojimmy Nice! Glad the Robotic Wankatron 5000™ is working for you!
If you did want to put up pics of your specific setup for posterity's sake, the easiest way would be to upload them to Imgur, then for each pic you can copy/paste the "BBCode (Forums)" share link here in the forum.
