Question: what does the option for Android overlay beta do?

andman24 Is there a specific function you're wanting to know about? Or are you just talking about next version release in general?

We are adding the features to the main settings under controller mapping section:

Additionally we will explore an option for this to work in 2 ways, depending if you click a trigger or click & hold:

if you click it toggles ON, another click toggles OFF
if you click & hold its ON and on release it goes OFF
Controllers are going to be much faster than calling player UI

Just about the time I have a new interactive menu memorized and can use it fluently, it gets changed, very frustrating, its has been changing a lot lately ?? Can you please bring back the function where you can adjust the horizontal offset so that its centered in the screen AND be able to save that setting for each video?? Thank you

I just wanted to bump this topic since I was not the only person that experienced the issue, especially since I am still experiencing significant buffering (consistently almost every time for every video), to the point that the vid becomes completely paused in its buffering over and over, and therefore unwatchable.

This only seemed to begin following the release of the most recent app update. Thanks so much for all the work you do!! Hoping that this is able to be remedied soon

Rakly3 seems to be working fine today, I tested out the deo site. I tried a few videos and they played all the way threw with out stopping.

Vrsumo2017 Do you know which server you are connected to? Usually the speed test will connect to the same server you are streaming from.

Yar Very much looking forward to this update!! I just checked and my DEOvr app did not have an update available on the oculus homescreen. Curious if anyone else is not seeing it. Apologize if it takes a while for the update to be pushed, I am unfamiliar if there is a delay or not.

bamjus Been waiting for this update for a couple months now since they first mentioned the remote commands. Was so excited to see they released it. Went to check DeoVR and no update =(
