Can't download videos?

Active premium member here,

For some reason I am unable to download any videos from "V1VR" and "KMPVR" studio titles... I am able to download other studio videos just fine though.

If any member or support has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated!

pr1met1me A number of the JAV studios permit streaming only, no downloads. This includes the two studios you mentioned, and is a decision made by those studios.

JAV in general tends to be largely pay-per-video downloads, so while we are super fortunate that many JAV studios have joined SLR and we are able to enjoy their content, streaming-only is often an important factor for some.

And yet, on r18.com, it is quite possible to download all these videos, it is really a shame for us on SLR.

streaming is the best way...until they disappear

so do yourself a FAVOR and make a detailed list of the ones you really like...just in case. finding them without a name is a little difficult, but could be kinda fun and time-consuming

when you find out they are like 10-25gigs...you might not have too much desire to actually get them on the headset

make the list regardless

midorijin Sadly r18.com also charges anywhere from $5-$15 per VR scene, does not offer free streaming for any scenes, and AFAIK still requires the use of their own proprietary player to watch their downloads (which are loaded with DRM).

justsomedude101 For the player, I don't know, but I think I saw that r18 offers subscriptions by studio, but also a general subscription.

i registered with r18...didn't go any further though...tad lazy trying to figure things out...unless it's a video i really really want

there are other viable places

not sure it's a problem to look for shit you really liked that went missing

Yeah it looks like they do offer a site-wide subscription membership now...for just under $80/month. Oof 🤯

I didn't get far enough into the subscription process to see if it was streaming only or if downloads are allowed, but I would be a bit surprised if they allowed downloads, even at that price. Or maybe they do but there'a relatively low cap in place.

justsomedude101 Not tested either, so I can't say more.
But if not limited to streaming and no cap, for a person who will have a lot to recover, 80$, it's very quickly amortized (it represents about 6 videos if you have to buy by unit).

if you had a list of videos you REALLY wanted...maybe some that you relied on and got deleted....you would spend that money.

i was willing to spend whatever and would have figured it out

luckily got all the clips replaced....except for that one GB on the operating table

there is 20/m option out there....1 dollar download (never quite figured that one out)

might need to learn out to google stuff (it's about asking the right questions/refining it with first results if you don't have the right terminology going)
