Quest2's fov is about 90, that' too small. Is there any way to enlarge fov?
FOV
Other than buying a headset with larger FOV no.
Other than buying a bigger headset, there are a couple after-market mods that bring the headset closer to your face (thinner face pads, for example), but they don't help a lot and can cause more trouble than they're worth for some people. If you have the money, a Valve Index makes a great "next level" of virtual reality with a wider FOV and the same quality as the Quest 2. And if you have even more money (and some patience to wait and receive one), then the Pimax 8K will do even more for you.
Yeah, seems like the majority of mainstream headsets will have roughly the same FOV as the Quest 2. You can't beat the price of the Quest 2, but it's a bit of a trade-off with the average FOV.
But I will say that I personally went from an Oculus Go (which was even narrower than the Quest 2) to a Valve Index, which was a mind-blowing upgrade w/ FOV. Then I went to a Pimax 8kx and it was even more mind-blowing haha.
justsomedude101 Pimax 8kx is amazing! Practically no screen door effect and huge FOV.
threedguy Yeah, I find it to be a fantastic experience overall.
The head strap comfort leaves a lot to be desired- I ended up removing it and using a few pieces of gear meant for the Quest, which are far more comfortable. And some people find the peripheral blurring to be an issue, though for me it's rarely noticeable.
ibins I had this same thought before I got one. The answer is that it's 200 degree FOV diagonally- the horizontal FOV is around 160-170 degrees, so it works well for 180+ degree VR scenes.

justsomedude101 I keep looking at the Pimax and thinking about pulling the trigger. Glad to know it's really an upgrade
mebejoe I definitely find it to be a great experience, zero regrets.
If you (or anyone) decides to pull the trigger: as with any headset, I always suggest getting it from Amazon or another retailer that allows for 30 day no-hassle returns. That way you at least have the option if it's not what you expected. TBH no different from any large purchase haha.
blaze466 Supposedly, the blurring is almost gone, and I think they said the strap is more comfortable.
Interesting, hadn't heard anything about this. Those are pretty much the 2 major complaints I hear commonly brought up (aside from the obvious high price tag), so be very cool if they were able to address it.
I know they've released several versions of the audio/speakers as well, trying to replicate the Index's over-ear speakers but a ways to go on that one before they get anywhere close to the quality.
