Why do SLR Originals keep doing GiraffeCam for the close mish?

The close mish position in a lot of SLR Originals scenes looks strange and it's like i'm watching from the POV of a giraffe. I made some drawings to hopefully explain what I mean... please excuse how horrible they are haha

I added a little to the conversation here but I'll paste below:

Regarding the "giraffe cam" for close-up missionary... I genuinely LOVE how SLR/Nash/Redstar film their arms-up close-up missionary. I feel like it's one of their trademark setups and it's easily one of my favorite sections of their scenes that I look forward to every time they release a new scene. However, I do think the last few scenes have fell off the mark just slightly.

Agreed, that in this scene (particularly Kenzie's section) and scenes like Asian Delight 3, the camera was positioning too "giraffe." The women's eye's shouldn't need to roll upwards to make eye contact. The eye-contact should be more straight above, almost perpendicular (maybe between 70-80 degrees) to the bed, in a forward direction. In this scene, Kenzie was tilting her head back a bit in order for her to look into the lens (110-120~ degrees). Even then she still had to look too much at an upward angle. So in this case, it seems like the camera was leaning too far forward and "behind" her face.

I also think the camera distance between face and camera could just be a few more inches apart. When close-up missionary is too close, it can be a little cross-eyed and hard to really see much going on. Especially if they are getting rammed hard, and they are moving up and down, it is a little disorienting.

Basically, I think the majority of their close-up mish is filmed fantastic. I don't think they need to stray too much from their magic formula. But I do agree more recently there's been a few offenders and could be improved upon.

I think this is a big part of why I personally love the seated missionary angle like the one used in the recent Mackenzie + Violet scene. To me eyes it seems like the perfect balance of being close face-to-face while still showing a realistic body position and visible insertion for the viewer.

But I agree that there's some room for improvement with the missionary angle. The Tru Kait + Kenzie Anne scene was definitely much more obvious than I remember ever seeing before. As long as you were looking at the girls faces you were fine, but the second you looked down it was pretty clear.

I want to add the question why cowgirl position is almost always shot too close to the camera around here. VT, WankzVR, BadoinkVR, etc. have all nailed the perfect distance lately...

Off the quest 2, that I just bought a few days ago 😏

OK so, this would be considered "giraffecam"
Imo this shot doesn't make any sense it's
"close up Mish" but my body is standing. 🤦‍♂️

This one here 👇 is close up Mish but it makes sense cuz my body leant over her like face to face mish, his hands holding him up makes more sense too, plus guy can use his hands to pull her up to the cam for sum kissing while he pumps away, crest her breast, or maybe even put a arm under her lower back to arch her a Lil to get sum great hip grinding motion. Or even better pull on her hair a Lil from behind. 😏🔥👍

I slowed it down. 😉

l figure the problem out . While the alex group is in pursuit of 'close up', they put too much attention to the camera.The camera becomes the leading role and undertake the task to make close ups (not the man).They should know that all close up should made by human.You can not make close eye contact with the girl while you standing up and the girl laying down 🤣 Let us be the role not the camera to make it realistic
