No, obviously not. You don't understand Putin's motivation and his psychology. He won't stop until he's stopped, it's as simple as that. The invasion in Ukraine happened because nobody stopped him before. If nobody stops him in Ukraine he will continue his crusade in other countries, maybe a Baltic country or Finland next time? Or maybe Serbia or any other country? His ultimate goal is a new Russian empire with him as a new kind of Zar at the top.
You can't appease a bully. A bully takes whatever he wants until somebody hits him in the face and shows him that there are limits to his power and that there is somebody stronger than him. That's why a day one surrender of Ukraine would have been extremely bad for Europe and the whole world. It would have meant that he lost basically no military equipment and the whole country got behind him in this glorious victory. It would have finally broken all resistance and opposition in the Russian society. It would also have meant that the sanctions might have already stopped or were not even installed in the first place and didn't hit the Russian economy like they do now. So what would have been the outcome? The outcome would have been that we had an extremely strengthened Putin who had again the whole Russian people behind him, knowing that his imperial crusade might even work and that other countries might simply follow suit once he threatens the West with nuclear weapons. I don't think anybody in Europe actually wants that...
And all this fear about a nuclear war is pretty bollocks. Putin is a cold-hearted dictator but he loves luxury and he loves living. He's not a communist or a mad ideologist, he just wants to be the next Zar and reign with ultimate power. He knows pretty well that nuclear weapons wouldn't do anything good for him, it would just end the world but for what benefit to him personally? People should just stop being so panicked about nuclear war, it's extremely unlikely. I'd guarantee you that Russia would withdraw from Ukraine a few days after the NATO installed a no-fly zone in Ukraine and the US deployed heavy equipment and a lot of troops in Eastern Europe. Russia is actually pretty weak compared to NATO in a conventional war.
Putin is simply betting that the West is too chicken to really engage with him, so he is simply as bold as possible and it works. It worked in Chechniya, it worked in Georgia, it worked in Syria, it worked on the Crymea and in the Donbass and it also might work in the whole Ukraine if nobody stops him. There is a clear path of escalation there and you really need to see the whole story behind Putin and how he always pushes escalation and war because he has nothing to offer to the Russian population. Putin came to power with a war and he will always try to wage wars in order to keep his own people contained. But he's not a suicide.

The motivation does not matter, the acts of violence are the true crime, and we had laws that forbid all the acts of violence so called terrorists do for ages, there is no need for special laws against terrorist and "regular murderers" and other criminals. What they do is the crime, not why they are doing it.
And it is not just the US that use the term creatively, it is only the US that uses the term primarily to justify wars, because nowhere in the world the military is such a huge economical factor than in the US. They basically need wars for their economy to function.

Totally agree with the decision not to allow Russian subscribers or Russian models. Russia needs to be made a pariah state which no one trades with until they retreat from Ukraine, pay to rebuild what they’ve destroyed and they return to being a decent peaceful nation. I know not all Russians agree with what’s happening so it’s tough on them but maybe it’s time they took a stand against their government. Losing a porn site is hardly the same as a Ukrainian losing their home, their country or their life.
I know other countries like the U.K./US aren’t perfect either with their involvement in bombings in the Middle East. Their motives are not pure but they are not actually trying to invade and colonise those countries.

Busbear My point is, in some comments I only see negative thoughts towards Russians, to it's citizens, instead of Putin. That creates some dangerous perception where everyone can say anything against them because "all of them are the bad guys". In my opinion models shouldn't be part of this.

I really hope people stop being so negative to the hard working women models here. I have been helping and talking with multiple of them for years now. They are just people... Please stop the negative and hateful comments. There are people on the other side of these screens that we all enjoy. People that love, people that care, people that can't speak out about the current situations. Please please please be mindful of who this people are and they have feelings too. War is never good on either side. I will never risk any of the models here to encourage them to put their lives on the line and risk going to jail for 15 years because they speak out.... Use your brain and think outside of your own privileged lives, and put yourself in someone's position... would you actually risk your life, your safety, your families livelihood?
