My SLR app in Quest2 is showing only black screen after updating to 11.4. It was playing perfectly just before update. So far I have tried following but same black screen remains 1. Uninstall from the Windows sideload SLR app installer and reinstall 2. Uninstall from Quest 2 and reinstall using SLR windows app 3. Reboot Quest 2 several times 4. Shut down Quest 2 completely and restarted after 1 hour 5. Free up at lest 10 GB within Quest 2 6. Check updates of Quest 2 system but it is already on latest version All other games and apps are perfectly fine including Playa and DeoVR.

I have no idea how all this works so sorry if this is a really dumb question...when the Android overlay is added will that mean there will be a visual improvement to all existing videos or will it only apply to new videos going forward please? Thanks

Hey just updated SLR on my Quest 2 and now it sets the volume to max on startup and crashes instantly.
Re-Starting/Installing didn't help. Any ideas?

It seems we have found why the black screen appears.
To solve this issue need to:

Enable Headtracking in the settings.
Go to Oculus store and install DeoVR player go to SLR website in the browser and use as usual.
Remove SLR from yours Quest and also remove SLR-launcher. Download SLR-launcher from website and install App again.

Hello, I have the same problem, the screen suddenly went black nach update 11.4 Slr app; The video continued to run in the background, but at the moment I'm using the deovr player, it works quite normally there.

I have also started using DeoVR player as it still works. However wanted to inform the dev team that this black screen occurred immediately after the 11.4 update. I like using the SLR app so would appreciate if devs correct the issue.

ssen2004 Hey Bro ! Go to settings and turn on Headset tracking and enjoy. 😉 It helped me.

Enable Headtracking in the settings and re-installing SLR launcher to install App worked.

Would prefer to watch these videos in dark room and not in well lit room required by headtracking. Thanks
