Hi, it would be great if screen shots could be provided. This is what is holding me back. Thank you
SLR app for Oculus Quest and Go [MacOS]
i can't do pls tell me download and put on what library
type "adb uninstall com.slr.oculus.go" when connected to your Go to remove previous versions.
I am going through the steps now. I have been busy for some time but have attempted to try again. There are still no screenshots posted. I will post every road block I run into. Forgive me if I come across as rude. But these instructions have gaps for non-techies who hate doing this and that represents a big portion of your market.
Step 4. --
Where is the link to exact page for developer account. I googled and did not find. I may of already gotten one some time ago but I don't remember.
Step 8. --
I copy and pasted in: ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"
I then needed to hit return. I did not realize this at first since it didn't say in instructions.
I then hit return and was prompted with the following message: "Password: k" It did not say "k". The "k" is where there is a key icon. Is this a password for my computer? I tried that and it did not work.
So as of now I am stuck on step 8.
- Edited
[unknown] I got to step 9. and failed. Here is an example of what I get (blue is overing personal info) https://imgur.com/ImvS45o
edit: I should add, I know I failed because in 11/12 I cannot find "(com.slr.oculus.go)"
[unknown] You are correct, I typed incorrectly. I did successfully get through steps 11-14. I'm stuck on step 15.
[unknown] Update: I've successfully installed it. Thank you for putting up with my non-technical nature. I think that if Oculus supported a native app you guys would already be a multi billion dollar company. I personally know that I've spent 90% less as a result of needing to deal with the slow browser. Good god, the next generation will really be wasted if I'm a precedent for anything.
How do I update the app?
Thanks
I'm stuck at the very last step because I don't see "Unknown sources" in the Library. Any ideas?
mxylpltk you need to put your Go into developer mode to see the unknown sources tab
Hey, @[deleted] is it possible to enable casting for the Oculus Go? Asking for a friend.
[unknown] thanks for responding! I meant while using the SLR app. I cast to my iphone but when I enter the SLR app I get the message "Casting/streaming not available on this app." Is there a way to turn it on for the app? I'll look into other software but it'd be cool to do it with the built-in casting. (for OculusGo and Iphone)
after doing step 8 it asked for password i hit enter 3 times and it told me i failed to log in after 3 attempts.
then i just copy and pasted step 9 and its not working. What do i need to do?
Thank
Hi, I'm stuck on stop 13. adb will not recognize my device. I've turned it off and on dozens of times while unplugging and replugging the oculus go. I also tried different usb cords and still won't work.
It just says "List of devices attached" with a blank space underneath. Not sure what else to do.
Thanks
Stupid question. Where would I find my username?
- Enter the installation command with the path to the latest apk into the terminal (check the name of the folder if you perhaps have more than one folders):
adb install /Users/USERNAME/Downloads/SLROculusGo/apks/SLR_go.apk
Here is where i am completely stuck. i don't know where the file is so when i input : adb install /Users/sunsplash/Downloads/SLROculusGo/apks/SLR_go.apk the reply is : Performing Streamed Install
adb: failed to stat /Users/sunsplash/Downloads/SLROculusGo/apks/SLR_go.apk: No such file or directory

Hello, I have sideloaded the SLR app to my Quest.
I can open the app fine, but cant select anything with the controllers or a bluetooth controller. I have the the cursor that follows the head tracking.
Am I missing how to select things ?
