rollsroyce I want the best possible quality for a video. Should I downlead Original, 90 FPS or 120 FPS? I initially thought original would be the best but then found out that it is only 60 FPS.
Rakly3 rollsroyce The Original studio files don't all work with Oculus and/or SLR/DeoVR app. ie if they are .MKV or encoded in VP9. 90FPS and 120FPS makes the experience smoother for headmovements and can fix issues for people with nausea.
Rakly3 rollsroyce innol I don't know the specific reason. We have and need them. They can be used for making compilations and such too. Some people also prefer them
Rakly3 innol I don't think .mkv works on the Quest at all, but this could have changed. The quest is also rated for video playback up to 100Mbps It mostly depends on the codec (and codec settings) used by the original studio.
Rakly3 innol PC can technically play everything as long the right codecs are installed. But the VR video app has to support it too. Or, if you stream from your PC with Virtual Desktop, it doesn't really matter. The only other standalone headset we support is the Pico Neo 3 Pro. I don't know exactly what formats it supports though. - For the SLR app it pretty much comes down to what AVPro from renderheads supports https://renderheads.com/products/avpro-video/
