Iamthemulti maybe when a .meta is 'opened' it just runs a conversion to .funscript on the device itself then plays that, that way you won't have to make any new logic for a .meta player

This has already been implemented in other (community created) players. Unfortunately there's no good way to convert from meta to funscript. It's better to use a separate playback algorithm for meta like I did for Whirlisync.

Philip - "For each video we will upload scripts that are available scriptarmy, for now we don't plan to sell them or charge anything for integration, I'm sure we cannot demand studios to create them.

Past releases that we will find files for will also be provided."

-Do you have a legal partnership with Syncarmy.com?
If you do not, this sounds an awful lot like you are attempting unauthorized 'free' sharing of the hard work the people at Syncarmy do. I think you will have a serious issue if this is the case.

Sorry for confusion. Officially we have no plans on working with SyncArmy scripts! Initially users will be able to use their scripts with local videos and streaming. We will also use scripts provided by content producers for automated streaming.

We might provide users a tool to encode videos on our site. More to be announced.

SLR Interactive v0.3 release notes
Cardboard and GearVR users would need to use additional phone to connect to Fleshlight Luanch via bluetooth. Current tech doesn't support a phone in VR mode to be connected to another device via bluetooth.

This is an early version of the app meaning there will be frequent updates which will improve on the current version.

Login procedure:
To use SLR interactive you must use the same login credentials as the SLR app.
Once logged in on both sides (SLR app and SLR interactive) there will be a checkmark on for “SLR Connection” indicating that SLR app and SLR interactive are now connected and streaming can begin.
You can at any point log in or log out on any side and the app will continue to work.
Use the “Remember me” toggle for automatic login in the future.

Device scanning:
To use your device (currently only the KIROO Fleshlight Launch is supported) you should first scan it so that it is registered
To do so turn on your Fleshlight, with the blinking blue LED light on, and then press the “Scan new” button in SLR interactive. This will open the “Scan device” panel and start to search for nearby devices.
Once your device is found the button will appear and you should select it (marking it green), this way you can add multiple devices if you have them.
Once you selected all the devices that you want, press the “Add selected” button which will register all devices for further use. They will stay registered until you remove them manually
You can cancel the scanning process by pressing the “Cancel” button

Device connecting:
Once the device is registered it will show in the main “Device panel” of the app, displaying the name of the device (“Launch” for the Fleshlight).
You can connect or disconnect from the device by pressing the device button - when the device is connected the button turns green and when disconnected it turns grey (you can also check your fleshlight device directly as the Bluetooth LED stops blinking once connected).
There is an additional “X” button at the end of the device which simply removes the device from registry and is intended for any device you no longer use. If you want to use it again you have scan for it again.

Use:
Once the device is connected and there is a connection between SLR app and SLR interactive you can start watching any videos support the Fleshlight.
These videos are:
Local videos which have a Fleshlight script with the same name as video but with the .fleshlight extension (video and funscript must be in the same folder).
SLR app videos that have support for Fleshlight( this is currently still in development for the SLR app)

Notes:
You must have Bluetooth and WiFi enabled on your Android device, also you must grant the application all the necessary permissions.
Bluetooth and permissions must be enabled prior to using SLR interactive in order to work properly, otherwise you have to restart it (note: this will be addressed in future versions). The same goes for disabling Bluetooth while in the app (restart is required).
If at any point you lose internet connection or disable WiFi you should also restart.

doublevr wow that’s a complicated process. At the first step I clicked the link to slr interactive but it just seems to go to google play. I use a quest, but it seems that for this to work it needs to tether to a phone, (I am guessing Apple rejected the app as it’s for adult content), so Am i to assume that non of the flesh light launch support will be supported for iPhone users?

You reference a different version integrated into the SLR app? Will that still require a phone to tether, or will it work entirely through the Quest?

mkirby The SLR Interactive app is just for Android for now. Iphone support is planned in the future, I believe.

PeterGriffin456 For now, you need to have a separate Android phone to run the SLR Interactive app. This might change in the future.

Thanks for the effort supporting the Launch. However, I can't put adult content related stuff on my phone. Will have to wait then. cu

It's pretty freaking amazing if you ask me.

But so far I can only find two scenes in premium.

When will more scenes be added that use this function?

My understanding is that users can actually write scripts for individual videos that already exist, but I have no idea how to write these kinds of scripts or where to get them.

      Any more information?

Ok..so ifi am using a gear var I have to use a second phone to control the device but watch the very on another? A better explination would be nice if at all possible. I have no current plans to buy a new vr device so the ability to continue using my gear is important

K_shadowfall To run the SLR Interactive app, it needs to be on a separate Android phone.
So, yes, for now to use it with Gear VR, you would need two phones. This is due to tech limitations, and might change at some point in the future.

K_shadowfall You have two phones for this? One running the SLR app and one running SLR Interactive?
Did you connect the device (turn on the Fleshlight Launch, with the blinking blue LED light on, and then press the “Scan new” button in SLR interactive)?
You also must have Bluetooth and WiFi enabled on your Android device, and you must grant the application all the necessary permissions. Both phones should be on the same Wifi.

Your instructions above say that to play videos and scripts locally:

          These videos are:
Local videos which have a Fleshlight script with the same name as video but with the .fleshlight extension (video and funscript must be in the same folder).<<<

funscripts don't have a .fleshlight extension. Do you just rename them?

Also, even figuring out how to even play a funscript, let alone make one, is extremely complex. I've spent a couple of hours and still don't even have a clue.

Has anyone made this work with local files on an Oculus Rift and the app on an Android? I've gotten the SLR streaming files to work. There just aren't that many and the ones that do exist aren't really the kind I like.

mebejoe I think this was a typo, the correct extension should be ".funscript". To play locally, you would just have to have the script and file in the same folder with the same name, and run in the SLR app. Should work.
More streaming files with interactive support are coming soon, but we don't have an exact timeline at the moment.

For actually creating scripts, there does seem to be a learning curve and it does seem pretty complex. The Realtouchscripts site is probably the best place to start if you're interested in the subject. The main site has a tutorial and the community is quite active.
