I understand what you mean, quite often the VR camera is in an awkward position but there has been some models that actively make eye contact with the VR cam.

If you want them to notice you, just tip, doesn't need to be a big tip - I assume they see the VR goggles next to username so will know which camera to look at.

The things that make me visit Stripchat over DeoVR/SLR cams are..

More models on Stripchat
Better navigation, A button = cycles through cams, B = goes to main model page
Holding side-trigger = reposition PoV while moving controller (no need to use sliders in menu)
Hovering the pointer over a cam on the main cam page on Stripchat will show a Live preview - SLR is not live, it's a short recent recording
