Download speeds suck

For a few weeks now I've been getting terrible download speeds from your site.
I've done the speedtest, which was ok, but when downloading a file, I get <1MB/s.
That way it takes hours to download one file. I used to get a steady 6MB/s which is not terrible but also not very good.
All the other VR sites are giving me 20MB/s and up.

What's going on?

nljetze I had the same issue a while back, turns out it was my ISP throttling the site. If you haven't already, try using a VPN to access the site and download. I went from like <3MB/s to easily 20+MB/s (which is basically as fast as my shit-tier ISP is capable of).

Have you tried a download manager?
Disregarding the current slow speeds, how is your amount of bandwidth usage on SLR compared with other sites? The same, more, less?

justsomedude101 Thanks dude, but when I use my VPN it also doesn't go any higher than 1.4MB/s. Right now I'm stuck at 400KB/sec. I'm not gonna be paying for this much longer....

nljetze Make sure it's not some free VPN of the internet, usually those are shitty, also drop a ticket to support@sexlikereal.com with your speed test https://www.sexlikereal.com/speedtest

nljetze Hmm, yeah the only other thing I can think of is like Philip mentioned about avoiding free versions of VPN's. Know when I was having speed issues I tried using the free version of Hotspot Shield and it didn't do shit, but as soon as I just ponied up the money and bought the real version it solved my issues.

Either that or just mess around with the VPN location, assuming your VPN offers different locations. Even with Hotspot Shield I can get a pretty huge swing depending on which virtual location I pick.
