Rakly3 I am using the DeoVR app on Oculus Quest 2 and am going to the SLR site in the browser.

If I use the standard Oculus browser and go to the SLR site there, I can watch videos.

However, I am experiencing the issues mentioned above when using the DeoVR player on Quest 2.

I uninstalled and reinstalled but that didn't help.

All the videos whether online or local won't produce a stereoscopic image at all. It is literally showing the left eye image and right eye image only and keeps switching them quickly at infrequent intervals. It's a bit disorienting.

The best way to describe it is like blinking with your right eye only so you can only see out your left eye and then blinking with your left eye so you can only see with your right eye. And then keep alternating the blinking quickly and at different intervals.

      keylox23 Do you have any experimental features turned on? Rebooted the device? Try different Hz modes, or can you give me information about your device settings so we can try to reproduce it?

          Found the issue. I had disabled tracking in the quest 2 settings. Once I enabled it, 3d video works again. If I disable, I get the mono flickering images.

          If you want to test it to see what the video was like for me, just turn off tracking.

          I've had tracking off for a while. Before the update, I had no issues with 3d video.

          To me, the boundaries were an inconvenience and with tracking off I could use the headset in low or no light.

          Hopefully this will get corrected in a future update.

              keylox23 haha, I know what you mean! Now Oculus split up the boundaries thingy. Guardian and Tracking.
              With Guardian turned off all should be fine 🙂

                Like many of you, I was having performance/stuttering issues with the new DeoVR and SLR App updates. In my case this was resolved by setting 'Direct Show' to on by default in the developer options. Not sure if this will help for different system configurations, but the videos are running smooth again for me.

                Hey guys, thank you for all your feedback. I just want to let you know we hear you and we are taking this seriously & fixing asap.

                First of all, the option to switch the video grid 3x4 will be coming to you in the next update which will (if everything goes as planned) in two weeks or so. Also the live cams details, such as the amount of people in room & option to fav - this was an oversight on our part and we apologize.

                We're talking to devs to see where performance issues may be coming from - hopefully this will get resolved just as fast.

                We have many features planned for the future and we're taking everything you write into suggestions. It might take some time to see them though as we are a small team.

                  I definitely hate this grid of 6 format, an option to change would be very welcome. Also within the grid you used to be able to favourite a video and also see if a video had been favoured without having to go into the video. I used this function as a sort of bookmark so that if I order by new and fvourite the last one I saw then when I come back a few days later I can see whats been added after the last one I saw. It would be much better if you had some sort of bookmark function. But at least show if you have favoured on the thumbnails again.

                    Hopefully one of the fixes will allow the SLR/DeoVR app to once again play 3d videos correctly without tracking being enabled on quest 2 like before.

                    It was nice being able to use it in low light and dark areas before.

                      Bookmarking is not something we're currently working on but we might consider it for the future 👍

                        Is the model name no longer listed at the bottom of during playback? I miss the feature that identifies them and shows their other videos...

                          r1ckyspan1sh There's an Info tab to the right of the Playlist. Model's name is there along with the studio tag. I missed it being at the bottom too and discovered it by chance several days after the update before this one.

                            [deleted] Great to see that improvements are coming. Please make it so while you are viewing a video, when you pull up the menu to add tags, pressing up and down on the thumbstick scrolls up and down through your tags as long as the menu is open, rather than continues to do what you set it to do in the video. Also please make it so the "Show JAV" switch stays on when you switch it on.

                              Any more info on when further updates will be happening? Hopefully soon, still having issues with performance/playback, choppiness, and downloaded scenes taking multiple loads to play.

                              PC w/ Valve Index, HVEC codec and K-lite installed, GPU codecs updated, etc etc etc. SLR/DeoVR experience has really been suffering as a result of the update.

                              I started using Play'a as my default because the experience has been that bad. Play'a is awful, and I'm choosing it because of how unstable Deo/SLR app have been...

                              A lot of video don't allow you to select the display mode anymore, some videos I have that need fisheye enabled (not the slr originals) load without fisheye and there is no way to select it anymore. MajaMagic videos are an example.
