Hi, I've noticed the download resolution options are somewhat limited. For example, for videos with maximum resolution of 8K, the only available download options are 4K and 8K. My PC can't run 8K videos smoothly, but can handle videos at 5K or 6K, so it would be nice to have these options. These resolutions are available for streaming, so why not for downloads?

It would indeed be good for everyone to be able to choose the desired resolution, on the other hand, in terms of material, this risks being restrictive.
Because more resolution, it requires more storage space (especially that there is version x264 and x265).
So in the end, SLR has to make a choice.

We didn't expect so many would do that. They use cameras that otherwise shot in 5400x2700. I don't think it's reasonable for us to invest limited resources in supporting what they are doing. There is no excuse to upscale to 8K whatsoever.

doublevr my 1080 can't handle 8k, cant even handle 5k 10bit. I can barley get 6/7k to work if i turn off direct draw.
