Is the filesystem on the SD card Ext4 or exFAT? I wouldn't use FAT32 and certainly not NTFS.

    Robododo Thanks! 🙂

But that just means it's connected as MTP to a PC. 🙂 [Media Transfer Protocol]
Do you have a card reader for PC? (If you do and plug the SD card in, and Windows asks to format it, don't! Just means it's in Ext2, 3 or 4. Which is what you want it to be.

Grabbed an adapter and popped the thing out. It's indeed exFAT format.

Robododo ok, that then should not be the issue.

Did you download the videos with the phone?

I downloaded videos from the website and put them onto a new micro sd card in my Galaxy S7

I took this as meaning, downloaded to PC and transferred them to SD. It's not uncommon for large media file downloads to a mobile device/SD card to have incomplete or corrupted files. A download manager in every instance I've come across from users fixed the issue.

Another thing I just now think off, are the video files h264 and larger than 4K?

Had downloaded on PC, then transferred yeah. I'll try to download with a manager from the website. I don't recall which resolutions I had downloaded.

I assume I should download h264 and 4K is the max?

        It can handle h265

Not sure about the resolution but pretty sure at least 4K60 as the phone specs say it can record 4K30

Then a DL manager will likely not change anything. Was more about downloading straight to mobile/SD.

Rakly3 Not sure what you mean: I opened the link up in the download manager's browser on the phone and used that to download. Haven't tested all of them, but some are working now, others aren't.

Rakly3 Thank you for the help! And, eh, most of them. More of them are working than before, but one or two are still throwing me an 'unsupported' error. Wonder if it might be an issue with the hosted files...
