HP Reverb G2 offers much better visual quality than Quest 2

Spent some days playing around with G2. G2 display is much better compared to Quest 2.

My favorite headset so far.

Not the same price either (almost double) and it is not a stand-alone type.
But its definition per eye is slightly better than Quest 2 (2160x2160 vs 1834x1920), so unless HP messed up with a poor screen quality, it is normal that the display quality is better.

If you have the money despite the lower resolution I prefer the Index. I also have the G2 but it's actually much more annoying to operate with windows mixed reality. The Index just works and I like the FOV much more. I use both of these but prefer the index.

WMR is no hassle at all imho. It just works for me 99% of the time. You simply connect the G2 and it runs. Then you only have to start SteamVR and you're good to go. Index might be better for hardcore gaming but for VR porn it's just the inferior product imho.

LordCrash IMO the index is a far superior product. Of course the resolution is less but the quality of the G2 does not compare. The G2 feels cheep. I'm not saying I don't like it. I still use it on my second PC in my bedroom but as it is the tracking is very difficult to keep where I want laying down and the lower FOV makes me have to move my head more which is actually pretty difficult with your head on a pillow.
