Moving to the new app

doublevr

We’re starting to phase out the old DeoVR app, also known as Classic or legacy. Please install the latest version of the new app previously codenamed Hyper for your headset to prepare for the transition.

The Classic app is expected to remain functional with SLR until around mid 2027. We’ll share further updates as the transition progresses. Like new video features e.g. layered chromakey PT won't be supported in the Legacy app, but only the new app.

The Legacy app will remain the only option for PC VR and some older headsets like Pico 4. We recommend up to date headsets - Meta Quest 3/3S and Apple Vision Pro. We expect to support upcoming PICO Swan / Pico Space Pro as well as Meta Phoenix with the new app.

Already switched? Share your headset model and let us know how installation and playback are working for you.

doublevr Is the new app already compatible with Multi Fun Player and/or OSR devices in general?

doublevr

nannyskexis osr bt/wifi should be working at some point. Wired pcvr rather unlikely

Not familiar with mfp

The Hyper app is still missing section headers/jumping and comments. When will those be added? Section headers are your biggest remaining feature that no other aggregator offers. Would be a pity to see those gone.

Hello, I have a few questions that may be silly.

The classic app was more immersive looking. The new one is just a webpage right in front almost too close. Is there a setting so it looks immersive like the classic app?

Also when I log in it takes me to deovr.com. Do I have to type in sexlikereal.com every time? the classic app had a dropdown at the top that I could select sexlikerial.com instead of typing it in.

One more thing, I wish there was an image of the girl with a link to the girl when watching the scene. Instead you have to click into info and then click on the girl. The classic way was nice because it was easy to see who all the girls were immediately. Now that is hidden.

Thank you!

Adrianvr

Gartside You can bookmark sexlikereal.com in the new app for quick access, so you don’t have to type the address every time.

Also the scroll (moving the video up and down) doesn't seem to work.

Does Hyper have the ability to play local files yet?

I’m using a Pico 4.

Does this mean DEOVR will no longer be supported in the new year? And what exactly is the legacy app?

Also, how can I download the legacy app from the Pico Store?

Thanks

One of the main reasons I went back to old, when I have ideas I like to give them while I'm watching, I'll forget or won't bother if I have to comment on my phone...

The new app worked well, hopefully it has ai pt for dick erase with the alpha pt videos, I just barely found this feature too...

But let's get it 💪💥

More povsolos!! Povsolos are great in pt, it's a byod party 🥳 🎉 🥂

What about galaxy xr support?

Grasshopper

How to drag the image in the new app?

Grasshopper

Can you bring password protection asap. Thanks.

@doublevr I noticed the new Hyper app doesn't have DLNA server support like DeoVR Classic, it can only play local files, which essentially makes it useless in my case, since I have a large collection of VR videos on my PC and I use Universal Media Server (DLNA) to stream them to my Quest 3 headset. DeoVR Classic can play both the local files on the headset and the files from the DLNA server, and being able to switch from the SLR site to DLNA with ease all within one app is a great feature.

Grasshopper Hold grab and trigger simultaneously to grab the image and position it as needed. Pretty much like in HereSphere.

Unfortunately it also rotates the image if you rotate your hand, which usually happens accidentally. Would be nice if there were an option to prevent z rotation and it should probably be the default.

doublevr

areBee it is coming

doublevr

misko87 dlna is not something slr relies on. Not sure about deovr plans on that

nannyskexis

Remote control is missing in the Hyper version, which is a requirement for MultiFunPlayer to work.
https://deovr.com/documentation#remote-control

Currently, none of my OSR devices work with the new app, while they work perfectly with the classic app.

doublevr

nannyskexis hopefully it's coming later

I also hope that SLR retains DLNA as an additional feature in the new app; I don't think SLR wants to upset its members. Personally, I find it a great feature that complements streaming.
